    PSN and Bioshock 2

What kind of things would you like for the PSN to get for anything about Bioshock 2? Personally I think it would be awesome to have:

    Kashmier Restraunt: PSHOME
    Big Daddy clothes: PSHOME
    Big Sister clothers: PSHOME
    Mercury Suite's Apartment: PSHOME

and something that I have wanted for so long with Bioshock, is a Bioshock Little Big Planet pack, I mean come on, how awesome would that be? They could have the rosie, bouncer, and male and female splicers. Plus stickers and stuff from the game.

    Any other Ideas?

I definitely have to aggree with you on the Bioshock LBP add-ons. I cant believe they havent made anything from it. I'd like to see some splicer clothing for PShome and definitely a rapture themed apartment upgrade. How cool would that be.

I never really could get into Home. I used it for a bit when if first came out, then it just became boring to me.

Still, I would deffinatly like some Bioshock 2 themed items on the PSN, themes and music would be nice.

And if anyone here uses home and wants add me send me your PSN ID. Maybe I'll enjoy it more if I have some people from here on my list.

I think the main Reason the psn doesnt do much with Bioshock, is because they are more interrested in promoting sony exclusive games. One reason I sometimes wish I had an xbox. I was actually quite surprised to see the ghostbuster stuff happen. However, Infamous was BAD@$$ I loved it, which is what makes me go back to, thank goodness I have a ps3.

There's a free PS3 theme on the Cult of Rapture. ;-) For BioShock 2!

I'm so jealous about that! It's free, and I think I like it better than the 360 theme. I love those little character icons at the top.

The 4th article is about Bioshock trophies, and the only Bioshock news that's up is loads of quotes about multiplayer.

Go to the main cult of Rapture page and just slowly scroll down you'll see news of Xbox themes and then you'll see the PS3 news.

If only I could get the theme from my computer to my PS3! I tried putting it on a USB but my PS3 didn't recognize it.

Thanks I found it and downloaded it, but now I have your problem, PS3 doesn't think there is anything in my USB.

I think it's more PSN than 2K, I can't see why they would choose to make 360 users pay for their themes and not PS3 users.

i had that problem. just press triangle and press display all. please 2K make sure the multiplayer servers aren't faulty. Sometimes it gets annoying trying to play cod 4 multiplayer. I'll laugh if it shuts down because so many people want to play it.

I've never used a USB to get themes on my PS3. I just tried to do it. When I put it in my PS3 it just shuts off and won't come back on. I have to push the off switch and unplug it to get it to start again. Can anyone help? I'm confused.

Edit: Now I can't get my PS3 to turn on at all... I'll just keep trying.

Edit #2: Ok. Now it's on again. I'm not going to try that again unless I have some idea of what I'm doing.

I really wish it wasn't this difficult to put a theme on a PS3. I have searched Google and tried everything that other people have said to try. Such as making a folder on my USB called PS3 and then another folder in there called THEME. They said to use all capital letters or the PS3 won't recognize the folder.
That still didn't work for me.

The theme needs to go up on the PSN Store. I'm going crazy trying to put it on from a USB.

The problem is the download makes its own folder, here's what you do:

Download it to your ps3 theme folder, then go to it on your computer and click on it, then you'll be in the folder, and see the actual theme, just copy and paste back to the ps3 theme folder, and Voila! you got yourself a theme. But yea, they should totally put it on the psn already.

Just thought, you could go on the internet browser on PS3 and download it from there directly to the PS3 hard drive.

Never thought of that. Seems so simple. I'll give that a shot first and see if it works.

Oh ok. I read your post before, I didn't mean to ignore it, I just thought I would try the other way because it seemed more simple.

One thing I don't get though is where you say to make the folders?

  32. #32
Does anyone have any idea about my problem? I still haven't gotten it to work. It seems to be a different problem than everyone else's. It's like my USB drive causes my PS3 to shut off. I searched google and I haven't heard of anyone else having this issue.

After downloading go to Documents, then go to computer and click on your flash drive, then click on your ps3 folder, which should lead you to your theme folder, click on that. Now you should see another slightly different folder, this is the folder the Download you did made, click on it and you'll see the actual theme, copy then head back to the theme folder, paste inside of this, take to your ps3 go to themes, then install- kablam! yous got yourself a theme!

I prefer the classic XMB. Somehow none of the new themes seem to grab my interest so I never made a move to download any of them.
I also watched the Home feature on the blu-ray disc that comes with your ps3 and it was...strange. Even after the watching the video I still didn't know what was the point of it except to create virtual avatars and "meet" people in a themed-room. Does Home do anything else? o.O

    1. launch games with your friends
    2. meet new people
    3. cusomize your character with some of your favorite game merchandise
    4. create your own personalized life like avatar
    5. visit areas from some of your favorite games: Uncharted, guitar hero
    6. bowl, or try playing demos of some of sony's latest arcade games.
    7. watch trailers from some of the most recent releases in the home theatre
    8. in the mall buy clothes, or new apartments, though you dont have to, you are given plenty of clothes completely for free.
    9. Home is not just a themed room, areas include:
    your apartment
    mall
    home theatre
    an outside area
    bowling alley
    gamers lounge
    uncharted: sulley's lounge
    red bull air race
    guitar hero: behind the scenes
    resistance areas
there was an e3 area as well
there are more, but thats all I can remember off of the top of my head.

How was it confusing? And sorry but this was all of topic.

I just hope we get some bioshock 2 stuff, other than one trailer, and theme. (course I supose we got the dlc too.)

I could never get into home either. I downloaded it and used it a few times and then I just got bored, all there is to do is walk around and try to talk to people. I just ended up deleting it. Also typing using the PS3 controller is a pain. I suppose there is a possibility that I would download it again if there were some new features or Bioshock items.
