I've noticed that all the splicers are adults or adult-looking. And the only genetically modified little kids are the LSes. Could there be a splicer infant or teenager, or would the genetic rewriting be to powerful to withstand when infants and teens are developing?

yea, it would probably just kill the kids, and they said in the demo that kids were getting strangled
