Cool Will It Be Real Hard To Kill Enemies Like In Mafia 1?

Because If Your A Fan Of The Mafia Franchise Then You Already Know How Hard It Was To Kill One Guy With A Shot Gun It Took Like Million Of Shots Just To Kill One Guy Thats Insane And I Hope You Change This Because It Was Very Frustrating Just Like When You Start Speeding In The Game Theres Always A Cop To See You Don't Get Me I Like That It Was Realstic But There Was A Cop Around Every Block You Couldn't Get Away Please Consider Changing That Before Release Of Mafia 2 Thanks For Listening. :d :d

I never found killing enemies in MAFIA I to be difficult. I'm sure 1 or 2 well placed bullets should down an enemy. but I guess we will have to wait and see.

    Thumbs up

did you look at the mafia 2 gameplay videos the enemies went down with 3 or two shots so it won't be like mafia1,And if you shoot someone in the head they die instantly..But i agree in mafia1 it seem lke it took 7 shots to kill someone except 4 the bums in the old abandon prison.

I think you exaggerate. OK it was a hard game and some parts were very difficult to pass, but not like "Million Of Shots Just To Kill One Guy"...

Didn't bother reading your post. It would be helpful (strongly recommended that is) that you not capitalize the first letter of every word you type. It's looks completely asinine.

Yes but it makes your writing VeRy HaRd tO ReAd.

I think mafia's enemies were able to withstand so many bullets because AI was not as developed then and you weren't supposed to get an unfair advantage. You have to admit Tommy was hard to kill too..

I recall that in the first Mafia game bad guys in general actually withstood more punishment than in your average FPS. It'd take nearly a full Colt 1911 magazine to down an opposing mafioso with the game going *BANG-OUCH-BANG-OUCH-BANG-OUCH-BANG-OUCH-BANG-OUCH-BANG-URGH*. Aiming for the head naturally made the job easier but you'd still have to put two or more bullets in the guy. Some bigger guns (rifles, that magnum revolver) however proved to be fatal provided you'd catch a guy in the head with those things.

Tougher enemies weren't necessarily a bad thing. While somewhat unrealistic, they IMO added to that brilliant cinematic atmosphere. I never liked the GTAs from the 3rd part onwards (first two games were just lovely in their time), but I found the gameplay of GTA 4 generally rather well balanced: you don't mind baddies taking a few extra bullets as long as the general atmosphere doesn't go fubar — plus Euphoria animations are something I'd certainly like to see in future games (those kind of remind me of the first ragdoll technology introduced years ago in games like Hitman). I'd really prefer few tough enemies in contrast to ****loads of jackass errand boys; the Stormtrooper effect really is something that needs to be abolished in gaming.

I, too, prefer tougher enemies, but some of the enemies in Mafia I were too difficult. It took far too many punches to knock out a skinny female civilian walking down the street. That was a bit ridiculous.
