    Screen-capture option on 360?

One thing far too few console games offer, IMHO, is an option to save screenshots to disk/memory card. I would think it's a comparatively straightforward feature to implement (...said the man who didn't have to implement it). Is there any chance Bioshock will have this feature?

the only problem is that you'd have to map the function to the controller somewhere, you could probably add it into a pause menu but no-one will really use it if it's buried in a pause menu as the main point of taking screen caps is to capture something that happens spontaneously.

In my case, the main point of taking screen caps is just to have pictures, so a pause menu would be just fine!

    To the other responders:

My PC is too slow for Bioshock so that's not an option, and the PC and 360 are on different floors so a capture card isn't an option either. I guess I'll see if I can find an affordable DVD recorder with S-video input.

The idea is good and so far I only know Final Fantasy XI on 360, which uses this feature.

But it should be possible to send those screenshots to your PC, since watching them at the 360 is kind of boring (if you can't share it with others).

The PlayOnline viewer of FFXI allowed it to send screens to PCs via e-mailadress.

I think the 360 supports transferring files to a USB memory stick -- if so, that would be more than enough for me. If not, well, I guess I'd be S.O.L. with or without a screen capture feature...

Afaik you can't store any files on a USB stick (thats why you can store save games only on your memory card or the 360 HDD).

This is another reason why you can't transfer and share your save games on the PC. Some companies provide workarounds, though.

360 just allows streaming from a USB stick.

Halo 3 will save videos of battles. Another game that use snapshots is DOA4. Also, as someone said you could use a capture card in order to get what you want.
