    Ryan and the Vita-Chambers

According to Suchong's audio diary, anyone with Ryan's DNA would be reanimated in a Vita-Chamber upon death. This is why Jack can use them.

Because of this, shouldn't Ryan have been reanimated after Jack beat him to death with a putter? Or is it assumed that Ryan "chose" (like a man) to simply die?

There is already a thread about this.

Link? I use the Search function but find page upon page of topics that are seemingly unrelated, and I'm not digging through countless topics to look for the one that derailed/morphed into an Andrew Ryan/Vita-Chamber thread.

Ah, the Bioshock 2 forums! Haven't been there yet. Thanks!

Didn't notice he had turned his Vita-Chamber off. That explains it.

Are you referencing the "the player can still spawn from that disabled Vita-Chamber" argument? Because I think that's more a gameplay mechanic than it is a story one.
