Question What Was Your Favorite Corpse?

Well after exploring Rature for while, we find that corpses are very common and areas seems empty without them. The developers have put time to add interesting and some downright disturbing deaths in the game. So I ask you my friend, what is your favorite corpse your have crossed in Rapture?

    My favorites include:
The man who ended his life with a shotgun
The beautiful artwork of Sander Cohen in the lady's bathroom
The long dead corpse you find in the bathtub with his arms crossed covered by a sheet of wood. It was the most peaceful thing I ever saw in Rapture. Better your final resting place be in something that somewhat resembles a coffin then filled with lead hunched over a trash can.

Note: This thread could also include purposeful or accidental deaths that you have made.
In Fort Frolic I killed a spider splicer in mid air and he flew and landed perfectly on a bench.lol

Sorry if a thread has already been made.

I thought the corpse was awesome in, I think it was the salon in Fort Frolic. He's sitting at a vanity, but turned towards the door and his arms are flailing. Cracked me up the first time I saw it because the pose was so funny.

I like the corpse in the Medical Pavilion, right near the first shotgun you find, stabbed to death with several different scissors. The corpses of the family at the table in Sander Cohen's art gallery were interesting too, in a disturbing way.

My favorite corpse has to be the ones that you kill that wave "good-bye". Ah, good times, good times. :P

Then I have to say the second is that I saw a Big Daddy running around with a spider splicer corpse on its head (holding on by a foot or a claw or something).

    My favorite was Dr. Suchongs.
I must say that I was slightly disapointed at that one, just a standard Dr. Grossman. Still, Suchong with a drill through him is always a pleasant event. :-)

If not my favorite, I've always liked the nurse in the Medical Pavillion -

Clinical Trial Lot 44 Dr. Suchong/Client Fontaine Futuristics. Subject is white male, one Roland Wallace. Can you hear me, Mr. Wallace? 'Yes sir, Mr. Suchong, sir' Very well. Right, I'm introducing lot 44 now... We've codenamed Lot 44 'Enrage' because of its tendency to... *Mr. Wallace starts screaming* Nurse, hold him down... nurse! Nurse!!!

You know who I mean. :-)

Ooh! I love the one too, that whole moment of the game is one of my favorites. Walking down the hall watching the shadows though the crack, and then the door opens to your mothers corpse while Bei mir bist du schon plays, and you see the pipe and hat left from Andrew Ryan, and find out the truth from the audio diary. Definitely one of my favorite moments.

I wouldn't say it would be my favorite, but the corpses of Masha Lutz's parents are memorable. Kind of a sad and 'wow' moment for me.

Dr. Suchong. Hands down. I can just imagine the shock on his face as he went down, and the pain.

In the core area one of the rooms has a line of about 10 or so lockers which you can open and about the middle one has a corpse in it which falls on you when you open the locker.

I think the corpse of Timmy...whatever his last name was. The one tortured below the docks in Neptunes Bounty, with the battery rigged to him.

In the Medical Pavilion there is a corpse laying on a gurney. In one of my playthroughs I found her with her head and shoulders sticking through and out the bottom of the gurney with her legs flailing about in the air. I think it must have been a glitch. I could pick up the gurney and carry it around with her stuck through it. It was hilarious.

The battery one was nice,I have to admit.

    Fontaines,ofcourse...

I liked the ones nailed up,added a public punishment terror feeling....

I loved seeing the hardest big daddies fall.

Those plastered ones were good. Especially the dead people outside the windows chained to drown at the seabed....Is it right to be so wrong?

Killing a Big Daddy while he was standing next to a wall. He didn't even fall and it looked like he was still standing.

Killing a Big Daddy with a gas tank, oil barrel trap. He flew into the air like a splicer when using the cyclone trap, then landed on his head. It looked like he was trying to do a handstand.

And lastly (although I would not enjoy it if I was in his stead), the corpse you find in one of crawlspaces right after your first encounter with the houdini splicer. He had some sandbags stacked, a pistol, cigarettes and a eve hypo. But the thing that was really important was that he was tallying the days that he was hiding in the hidden compartment. Considering that the crawlspace was closed and none of his stuff were taken, he probably died from suicide or other "natural" causes.

Isn't it kinda weird how we're talking about how much we enjoyed seeing dead people? Of course it's weird! :P I don't really have a favorite. But I always remember that corpse in the room roght after the plane hits the tunnel. Sitting there with his booze and his sign and stuff.

I also like that corpse in the bathtub with the board over it. It's kinda sad to see that. You think he laid himself there to die, or someone placed him there? If someone placed him there, maybe it was a friend or family member.

Lol, that one's funny. I also laughed when I saw it. The pose and look on his face is like "AAAAHHHH!". LOL. As if you caught him doing something bad.

That's one of my favorite moments too. It's one of the most dramatic moments in the story and game.

Ok, just a random note about splicers. When you meet Martin Finnegan (AKA The Iceman), you can see all the other splicers he froze. Did you all know that if you thaw out the other splicers, they will go and attack him? Something I noticed on my first playthrough.

Oh well, it's hard to tell, there were so many.

I just found the corpse of the man in the bathtub yesterday. It's sad, maybe he just wanted to save himself in it and couldn't.

I also like the moment where you discover the corpse of your mother.

There are definitely more I like also it kinda sound weird.

To Circus of Values: Yeah, I heard about that on this forum. didn't find out about it till my 10th playthrough. I'm on my 14th now. xD

Yesterday i was playing, and another funny one happened at the bottom of the stairs to the projection room in fleet hall when the thuggish splicers try to ambush you. Layed a proximity mine that wiped them all out in one shot. One of the corpses somehow flew at the wall and somehow its head got stuck in the wall. The funny part was that it looked like the corpse was still standing up too.

edit: Most of you may already know this. But for those who don't: you can kill finnegan, cobb, rodriguez and cohen with just a single headshot from the crossbow.

This seems a strange topic but I do have a couple. The bodies of Masha's parents, the family in Mercury Suites, the big daddy that was thrown through a glass wall, the plaster splicers in Cohen's Masterpiece, and one body of a woman in Atlas's Home for the Poor that boarded herself in a bunkbed along with a teddy bear.

And two potato chips and one pistol round.

But what made you think she boarded herself in?

There was a board of wood against the side of the bunkbed. It kind of reminded me of the corpse in the bathtub. Either the woman killed herself or someone put her there and wanted her to have some proper resting place where splicers wouldn't bother the body.

The corpse of Anna Culpepper was interesting. She was laying in her bathtub, just like what Sullivan said in his audio diary that was found in her apartment. It also creeps me out when I find corpses of dead cats laying around the city. I mean, who would want to kill a friggen cat for christ's sake.

Yesterday I killed a splicer with telekinesis. She didn't seem to die right away. She fell to her knees, then slowly tipped forward onto her face. It looked like a really dramatic death in some movie. It was really funny.

I dig the one where the guy is strapped up with electricity wires and you find the audio diary where he was being interigated.

One, well 4 I think, I found that felt really creepy searching was in the appartments and there is a family sitting on sofas around a coffee table.

Oh, the abandoned apartment with the three dead little girls and parents. I think they commited suicide so that their daughters were not forced to become little sisters.

Today I killed two leadhead splicers but they didn't fall down flat. Instead they were kneeling. :P
