I don't know why, but that is pathetic. Afterall, 2K Liz knows she's not gonna be on all the time, could giving mods power really do much damage?

Just PM the suggestion to one of the moderators, including the username, and I'm sure 2K will take care about it as soon they come here. It's 11pm in New York right now, so it's way outside of business hours so it may take a while.
Although they can lock threads before you can post your snappy comebacks...

Just like I Private Messaged Rature_Tourist about that thread that had over 2000 posts in it just because it was out of hand and most of the posts where spam so he closed it and posted a new one then locked it after the first post and it stopped people talking about it.

i think i actually found the guy your talking about. Yeah, ban him. It is the easiest way to keep fans, a lot of people are walking out in fear of spoilers. It's like the fridgin great depression. well, they could bump the moderators up to super moderator status, that lets them do everything short of an IP ban
Just add them to your ingore you wouldn't see any of his posts, and also add his alt account to ignore aswell.

actually under appropriate conditions, according to this by liz which i cant find right now, they can. BTW this thead needs to be locked. if i recall last time a "ban this person" thread was up it was locked immediatly because all it does is draw attention the the guy everyone wants out.

Considering this is 2K Elizabeth's first time managing a such a community I really can't blame her for being a bit over-cautious with which board features have been enabled for the mods and members.
If you truly believe that 2K's Bioshock is being harmed by mods not having the power to bring such determined disruption under control then you might consider sending a brief and polite eMail to Marci Ditter, 2K's PR director.
