That's a tough one for me to answer because I can be very picky sometimes. Hmmm...

    Dune Miniseries
    In the Beginning (Babylon 5)
Lord of the Rings (Part 1)
    Matrix, The (original)
    Minority Report
    Momento
    Predator
    Pianist, The
    Terminator 2

Possibly Schindler's List, though I haven't seen the entire movie.

There are probably others that I've forgotten about.

Mel Brooks should be ordained as a god. Seriously.

Even though I hate the Wachowski brothers for the slaughtering of the Matrix 2 and 3 after such an awesome opening film, V for Vendetta was rad. V couldv'e fought in a bit more realistic manner, like in the last fight scene where he gets shot up then kills alls the cops or whatever they're called, the slow motion scenes made him look like a hunchback with a lame leg. I understand he was shot up and everything but if you watch the scene the intention is not to make him look injured, it was just filmed and edited in a sub-par manner.

Brick is a fantastic movie aswell, you all need to watch brick. I assume most everyone here would enjoy classic film noire style detective movies, Brick basically revisits that. The setting is a bit hard to wrap your mind around for the story being told (they're all high school students you see) but if you can manage to convince yourself to make that believable, then you're in for an awesome time watching that movie.

Sin City is amazing, I was a fan of Frank Miller for his Batman work well before this, but hadn't really ever followed the sin city series, after watching the movie I picked up a few novels and I was blown away. Not only is the movie so true to the graphic novels that it's like the pages come to life, but the stylization of the movie is so true to form, revolutionary, innovative and perfectly on par it's mind-boggling.

Interview with the vampire is a fantastic movie aswell, albeit a little depressing at times because some of the scenes from the book simply -can't- be replicated in movie form. In either case, that's how vampires should be portrayed. As much as I like the Blade movies, it doesn't make sense that an immortal race is comprised mostly of thugs and morons, and the sheer numbers represented in blade make the whole thing unfathomable.

Uhhh, what else... Hmm, Blow is an awesome movie, you wouldn't think that a movie about a drug smuggler can pull at your heart strings, but good god, never been that close to crying at the end of a movie

I'll probably add more to this later, I'm sort-of a movie nerd.
