VGA question

Concerning the 360 demo release:

Now I can dive into my question. Like a large number of people who cant afford HDTV's I have temporarily settled on using the VGA adapter. This has become both a blessing, and a curse as anyone who owns one of these devices that allows you to play 360 games on your computer monitor can tell you. The large variety of ways developers support this device (and in many way's simply don't) annoys me to great degree and each time a new release comes around I have to do research on whether or not the game supports it...and more importantly how it supports it. I don't mind the widescreen black bars that are thrown onto the screen, so this isn't a post screaming for a fullscreen option, I've learned that asking for such support is futile. What I would like to ask is an option to turn off the widescreen that is implemented in the game. During the course of the demo there is that cutscene where the player comes into contact with the electrovolte plasmid. During this sequence widescreen bars are added to the screen....The effect of this happening to a screen already having widescreen bars is... annoying. "Double widescreen", the game is reduced to a sliver on the screen. I know the issue is not earth shattering (at least the game isn't an anti-aliased stretched out mess like other 360 games using VGA.) but it is noticeable and really pulls you out of the experience.

So thanks for reading, and before you reply to this please be nice and not spam that I should just go out and buy an HDTV.

I get it. It's going to happen, I'm simply not in the position to do that now. I've heard that response before. Please spare me.

The reason why they have the double bar of black strip is to hide the HUD. It's supposed to look cinematic.

Full Screen is nice for those still without Wide Screen on their monitors.

I have no idea about whether or not there is an option for this.

Instead of paying £10 more for the 360 version, I'll just play the PC version with my 360 controller.
