I tried this with SLI mode off AND on.
The option just won't enable.
I have an HP Blackbird, running Vista. Everything is updated, all my drivers.
I even tried re-installing DX10 and it told me I was up to date already.
Please help!!

Disable all antialiasing. All of it. DX10 on BioShock doesn't work with AA.
Thanks, I just tried it and it didn't work. I tried setting antialiasing to OFF (globally) as well as Application Controlled. I also made sure the Bioshock program settings in Nvidia panel were set to off as well.
I even uninstalled nHancer in case it was causing a problem.
Still no luck with DX10 Detailed Surfaces, it's still disabled.
Thanks for trying
I have nHancer too, and it works fine. Look at the target for the shortcut, make sure it doesn't have "-dx9" at the end.
Yep, checked that too![]()
Hmmm. This sounds obvious, but have you contacted 2K? Actually, I think the problem may lay with the SLI cards. If you can, remove one of the 8800s and try it. Btw, I have a GTX 280, not in SLI, and it runs DX10 fine.
It's certainly very strange.
I've tried running in non-SLI mode and it doesn't seem to matter.
I don't any troubles running other games like Crysis, Dead Space, Assassin's Creed, Fallout 3, Far Cry 2. But it's hard to tell if they are running in DX10 mode or not hehe.
Maybe I'll buzz 2K and see if they know anything.
Thanks!
yea, a while ago i forced in 4*AA with rivatuner and still was able to select dx10 surfaces on 8800gts 640mb.
