Disconnected from Playstation Network

I've been getting this error a lot the last two days. Anybody else? I've got Comcast broadband and live in the Northeast. When the error happens, it's only the PS that's affected. All my other network connections appear to stay on.

Yeah, I had that too, I thought it was due to gamespy. It tend to happen when I think there is more people on the server, like saturday or sunday afternoon, but now that you said it happens on monday, tuesday and wednesday, i'm not sure it's that. Maybe it's the connection with the other player? I don't know but you're not the only one.

i had it 2 nights ago and got ejected from a game i was way ahead in.

It happened to one of my students ( I am a teacher ) last night and on Tuesday night. Game has frozen a lot this week as well.......

I get this on xbox fairly often. It mostly seems to happen if the host player quits or is disconnected. Seems like maybe the game doesn't know how to switch hosts sometimes, then throws up this stupid non-informative error. I'm clearly not being disconnected from xbl because I can still see all my friends and everything.

I don't know what's wrong with the PSN, but if it's not one thing it's another. But I'm guessing less money was put into online infastructure than on Xbox Live, or the code didn't convert as well for PS3. But this bug sucks, it's not like a freeze where you can wait a little bit and still communicate with the people you are playing. It's usually an automatic loss.

I've been getting this message a little more frequently as of late on Xbox Live, but primarily on my secondary account. I don't know what that issue is, but it happens randomly.
