Hit Cohen, But Didn't Kill Him

When watching Cohen observe his masterpiece, I accidentally hit him with the wrench (I dropped my controller). The lights went red, and he proceeded to attack me with the usual Houdini Splicer shtick (except with unusually high health, of course). If I let him kill me and go back to the Posideon Plaza Vita-Chamber, he's still there watching like normal but will attack me again if I drop into view.

If I don't actually kill him, will I still be able to get into his apartment later on? Or do I have to reload my last save (right after killing his first "disciple")?

... Oh. Tough dilemma. You can either re-do Fort Frolic, or continue on, but I think the game considers the fact that if you hit Cohen, you're looking to kill him. So, I'm really not sure if he'll still be there if he behaves like... Well, like a splicer towards you.
I would reccomend redoing it, but it all depends on how bad you want that upgrade later.

You most likely have to reload your last saved game. I accidentaly hit him my first time around too =(

On my 1st run i never killed him, I figured seeing as he was actually fairly nice to me giving me the tonic n all i let him live, and i didn't even know about his room 'til i read about it on this forum :P

Hmm well, I had the same thing happen to me too. Except I had static discharge equipped and some stupid ass splicer came to hit while I was standing by Cohen as he admired his completed masterpiece. Needless to say, Cohen got zapped and was very pissed off about it.

I managed to run out of the Fort before he could attack me (or I had to kill him) and when I went back, he was fine and I was able to get into his apartment later on. (He seemed pretty happy to see me too, "I hear your wings, flapping in my home~. Flip flap, flip flap. "

So, to make long story short, you can hit Cohen, but as long as you don't kill him you should be able to make it into his room in Olympus Heights. (Sorry about the little 'story time', I decided to have there XD.)
