    Bioshock control settings

Is there any way to change the control settings (PS3)? i keep pressing circle by mistake wasting health packs. I wouldn't mind to swap it with reload (square). Also I'd like to press X to hack. It would make life easier with the "flying robots". But I guess no, huh?

i dont think there is a way to change it...i havent really looked for an option but they tell you on welcome to rapture the button actions like y, or in your case triangle, is jump so i doubt they would have somewhere you could change it...some games like call of duty have a button swap option available but i havent seen one in bioshock...granted i play on the 360 but i imagine it would be the same for the ps3

Well, yeah. That's what I thought. I checked it already and there was no mean to change anything. Too bad because those controls are driving me nut sometime. Especially when hacking. Far too many times it doesn't pick up the hack command and instead it recharges my eve (?). Great game but the control setting really annoys me a little.

Talking about hacking security, do I need to always shock them first? It doesn't seem to allow me to hack them without doing it first.

I dont know about the controls, ive never played a ps3 so cant help there. Id have thought there would be a customise controls bit like the other consoles but if you cant find it then there musn't be one..

About hacking, if you want to hack a machine then it has to be put out of operation first by hacking otherwise it will either shoot you if a turret or set off the alarm if a camera. If you want to hack you can either shock them first with Electro Bolt or freeze them with Winter Blast which also works. That only applies to turrets, cameras can easily be hacked without needing shocked or anything if you just stand underneath them, turrets will need to be shocked or frozen first to be hacked, otherwise they will just need to be destroyed

Thats one of the first things I tried to do when I first played the game. I tried to switch the border triggers. I just had to learn how to play with the set up. Still not happy about not being able to switch stuff around, but oh well thats life I guess.
