Age of Conan pushed to 08. 08 the new 07?

Age of Conan has been pushed to March 2008 in order for Funcom to do some good old spit and polish. They stated that the feedback from the beta had them want to change a lot. I'm glad they're taking that approach.

So anyone feel that 08 is going to be a great year in gaming as well now?

that's just confirmed titles, and I know I'm forgetting some. TGS should bring some more onto the table as well.

Eh, Huxley looks alright, but otherwise, I don't think '08 has much in store for me, considering I don't have a PS3 (no MGS4) and I don't like the GTA series.

really? I think I see major improvements, and they've revealed so little. I'm buying it either way. I played Fable without reading up on it, and was amazingly impressed. I played through multiple times cause it was a fun game, length and failed promises didn't effect my judgement.

do you have a PC 360 or Wii? cause there's some decent titles coming out for each system.

PC gamers should take note of Left 4 Dead especially.

they better, they're taking a huge risk, shoveling that much money into the project. Reports are stating over $30 million spent on the game, and we haven't even gotten to ad costs and whatever else they're planning on doing.

except for maybe Left 4 Dead none of those are... 'my status quo' for video games.

Even when I buy the 360 next year, I'll still be a PC gamer at heart! Meaning I buy one game ever trillion years! Ok, not literally, but I'll be playing the same three video games this year as next year, just on a different platform.

This year is PC for me, BioShock (I know I know... suprising!) The Orange Box and Crysis.

Next year Crysis will be replaced with Halo 3, and no, I probably won't bother with xbox live. waste of money IMO when I'll still have my PC for free similar mulitplayer. (team fortress 2 and crysis ftw! As I'm sure I've mentioned hundreds of times before, I don't like console controllers for multiplayer, don't notice them for SP though).

You guys think I should consider any other good FPS games for the 360 next year? I also might buy a PS3 or Wii. So I'll have... one game to play on it... So maybe I'll just stick with my own TV after getting the 360 so I won't have to steal my sisters (technically it's the family's but my sister is the only one that uses it, lol). But until I get my own TV I'll probably just use a 20" LCD monitor... anyone think that would suffice?

Doesn't look like they have. Killzone 2 looks exactly the same as the first. Just because you release a nice looking trailer doesn't mean the game will be good.

they've shown off gameplay footage, and one of the major lacking areas of killzone was AI. They've proved it's better. They have also shown that the graphics are indead better than most games out there, where as Killzone 1 was an eyesore.

I think they have made some big improvements.

Yup, wait until I can tell you, "It's just an overhyped game." Anybody can make a trailer that looks perfect, I doubt the game will be any good from what I've seen. Just like we know what to expect from Halo 2 to 3, we know what we can expect for Killzone.
