    Game Ratings

MKvDC came out a couple months ago but I didn't pick it up, I'm a huge fan of MK. I didn't pick it up because of it having a T rating, in my mind that made it not a true MK game.

Okay, done with the background history. Here are the questions. Does a game going down in a rating, from M to T or from T to E, have any impact on you purchasing that game? And the reverse, does a game going up in a rating, from E to T or from T to M, have any impact on you purchasing that game (CoD 3 has a T rating but CoD MW and CoD WaW both have M ratings)?

I know that stores have pretty much banned the sell of Ao games, but can a game go to market with an Unrated rating (much like many movies) to bypass this?

Hopefully this new thread is a post that is acceptable. If not sorry.

I'm fine with that, but if it's a franchise like Mortal Kombat or God of War where gore is one of it's selling points, it would be a pee-brain move to lower them to a Teen rating.

With MKvDC they must have lowered it because of them incorporating the DC superheroes. With them in there younger players would want it. In order to make the parents of those kids happy they lowered it. Well that is my guess.

Lol me too. The only T-rated game I have is Call of Duty 2.
