    Rushing habitation for quick units

    Has anyone tried rushing habitation (400 production) then switching to tanks same turn? I tried that this week for fun and pumped out 10+ elite tank armies in two turns! From only 3 cities! It was pretty awesome. I know it is a bit cheap but it was fun for a laugh.

    I think the OP means to select a SS Habitation module to build, rushing it using gold, then changing to tanks.

    The reason for doing this is that the habitation module needs a lot of production (hammers) to build, but if you rush it you don't get it straight away. You need to wait until the next turn. If you change to tanks before the turn ends, all those hammers are spent making tanks instead. That means you can rush a huge number of tanks, not just the normal 1 per turn.

    Can anyone tell me what determines if a rushed building/wonder is built the turn you rush it or the next. I cant figure the mechanics of this out.

    Units and building are rush on the same turn.

    Wonder and SS parts are rush on the next turn.

    UN and World bank, cannot be rush, the only way to build them faster is if you build an other wonder and then switch to UN or WB when they become available to build.
