I never noticed this until I got to the Olympus Heights approach the dancing Cohen and partner. I was not crouching at all, but I came only to their shoulders, they're like giants. And when I kept walking around, I felt so low to the floor, and again not crouching. Seems like a portion of the legs got chopped off. Anyone notice that, is it a glitch?
I noticed that too. Several times i have thought i was crouching and tried to stand up to find that i was standing lol. I guess he must be pretty small. Maybe it had something to do with his growth acceleration. Maybe he didnt quite grow to the right height and was slightly small in stature? He sure seems small when next to other characters..
I occasionally think I've accidently pressed the L3 control on the PS pad and am walking around squating, lol!

Well, I felt right at home in my 5'7'' and a half body while playing as Jack. lol
in the bioshock trailer he was quite tall..
hmm... I never played that close attention to his height. I was more like oh **** more splicers ahhhh....but now that you mention it i will be on the look for it. come to think of it, i was playing yesterday and entereed an elevator and the button seemed above his head..

Yes I constantly feel like a midget. Though I'm 6'8" so it may just be me used to being so tall...lol.
hm. interesting. theres only been a few times where the button was really high. its always the one inside the elevator. not the call button...

The splicers probably have growth hormones in their ADAM or something like that.
just a thought--but overall everything in bioshock seems huge--i mean walk into fontaines bathroom and the thing is the size of one of the public bathrooms---i know that he is suppose to be the #2 man in the place---but seriously---if that bathroom was built in real life id hate having to walk 30 ft just to use the toilet...

Jack doesn't seem to be too short or tall. I'd say between 5'7" - 5'10".
