right now i'm listening to pink floyd - time...
Tori Amos - Don't Make Me Come to Vegas.
If forums were living things, would this be considered the first cancerous cell? These threads invariably infect most forums, their growth is often uncontrolled, it's never germane to the forum theme, and in aging forums if left unchecked can bog down servers.
GodSmack - Any thing from their collection is great. (Faceless, Awake, etc.)
AND...
The old Baldur's Gate soundtrack recently. Ahh, the memories.
Some Cd's I listened to today.
Jeff Beck's AMAZING album "Blow by Blow"
Karl Denson's Tiny Universe "The Bridge"
Santana "Between Good and Evil"
The Roots "Do You Want More?"
Miles Davis "Autumn Leaves"
Jesper Kyd - Daylight in New Orleans (Hitman 4 soundtrack)

More generally I've been listening to High Violets lately, they remind me a lot of Lush and Ride and subsequently my early shoegazing teens.
The High Violets - Sun Baby
K-Os - Sunday Morning
and Classified ft. Chad Hatcher - All About U.
the last two I've listened to, also both -very good- canadian artists everyone should check out.
Currently my ipod has been playing exclusively tegan and sara, as they are my new favorite thing.
of all time, tori amos is my number one artist.
however i pretty much love all your musical tastes in this thread. placebo made me quite happy.
Isis - Mosquito Control / The Red Sea
Botch - We Are The Romans
Poison the Well - You Come Before You
Sigure Ros - ( )
Cult of Luna - Cult of Luna / Somewhere Along The Highway

The sound of Mr. Gimble's labored snoring as he wrestles with the dangers of my couch.
...Obviously, they are not a band....
Also listening to Clutch because...well...I like funk. Particularly the song "10001110101"
Ribonucleic acid freak out, the power of prayer.
Long halls of science and all the lunatics committed there.
Robot Lords of Tokyo, SMILE TASTE KITTENS!
Did you not know that the royal hunting grounds are always forbidden?
Are you rolling tape now? Bits and pieces large and small
Sector, vector, eat them all.
It’s already in their eyes.
Among the metal ones a messenger will soon arrive.

I've heard a similar song called 010101111111001100100101001000110. It was from a band called Acornsoft off their Arcadians tape.
I don't remember all the words but the chorus went:

Thats so rad V.Dog.
The most recent CD I bought was Chevelle's "Vena Sera." It's amazing. For people who are already fans of the band - it is by far the best album they have written. For those of you who aren't fans, or are skeptical, go buy it. Every song is amazing.
Other music I'm looking forward to this month is Nine Inch Nails' "Year Zero" and "Fear of a Blank Planet" by Porcupine Tree. If you're a fan of progressive rock, metal and ambient, this is the band for you. Think TOOL mixed with Pink Floyd.
