Moral dilemma and shame
I've never seen this before, but tonight I won a game with an invisible warrior, and it left me feeling really bad. So here's the lowdown:
I was using the Arabs vs. RrSharp's Egyptians, I found his cap in 3200BC with an exploring warrior. I put it in one of his forest squares and he attacks it, I win the battle with two guys left, but he also had a warrior army one square away. Knowing that it would be killed the next turn, I attempted to save it by moving it as soon as the next turn started. Right as it was going to move (I had already finished the command) his warrior army attacked it, and I thought he had killed it. The next turn after moving some of my other warriors, it automatically takes me to a blank square, but asking if i wanted to heal my warrior or move it, but I was confused, so I moved it, still, it's thin air.
The next turn his capital was empty, and he probably would've had mine in the next five turns or so because I had no huts, and really not enough time to build an army.
......... So I just sat there..... 30 seconds go by.....should I do it?.....I don't wanna lose..... So I took his capital with my invisible warrior.....
I feel really bad, it really wasn't a legit win. never seen this before. apparently he wasn't mad and didn't know what was up, he just thought he had left his cap undefended and wasn't paying attention.
yea this issue is quite lulz but bad. i had a horseman army 2 spots away from beijing on a hill. the game resynchronized and it made my army invisible, and i had a caravan that turned into a galley while still on land and could move! haaha
Another fun trick is selling a caravan just as someone is about to capture it. Often you can get the 30 gp for the caravan *and* the other player still gets the caravan!
Yes, like when MGT won two times cheating, when I rushed in different times units, he didn't attack them, and I lost the gold
