this is my 1st ever post so here goes.

i've been reading thru all these threads for weeks now and played hundreds if not thousands of civ rev games on and offline and here are just some things that ive seen on my amazing journey.

i keep seeing poeple saying that the AI doesnt steal great poeple. this, in my experience is not the case. a few times an a spy has stolen a great person and it immedietly gets settled in one of their cities with no way of chasing it the way a human would have to escort it back.

another thing that is massively irratating is how everybody under rates the japs. i've played as them most of the time because of there +1 food from water. this is unreal when coupled with harbors. when you get your 1st settler settle on an island or sorounded by water and rush a library. forget researching bronze working and the like and go for democracy as quick as poss and a few pikemen armies should see you through to the end.you can easily get to tanks by 1300-1500ad with only 3 cities including capital even when others are zulu. 1 city on an island producing money can be generating between 700-1400 a turn with bank and democracy and if you can trade fair and east india trade. so by around 1500 you can rush tanks and battleships from your 3 cities every go. this isnt a fully fleshed out strat coz you need to adapt but its pretty unbeatable in my experiance and i only ever lose if somebody is aztec or zulu and capture everbody elses capitals so have a massive advantage.

try this out and tell me what you think.

another thing is that when i rush the oxford university wonder in the modern era i get future technology and nothing happens. this always happens not just a one time event.

loving the new xbox update that lets you copy game to hard drive. my 360 is ancient now and kept crashing online and ruined my ranked game ranking. runs smooth as harry hills bonce now.

anything that bugs you or anything else really let it out, its good to talk.
