I'm sure the soundtrack will be great but sometimes we just like to listen to our own music.
I'll at least be playing "Cry Little Sister" from the lost boys soundtrack.

I'll be listening to the game music... nothing else will fit. Dunno why you would listen to any other music, the game is supposed to be immersive.
Ill be playing Satisfaction by Benny Benassi when killing the Big Daddy.
Tenacious D lol...
The first play through, I'll just listen to the games music.
second time through though, im blastin' the metal while huntin' the daddys.
I can't play anything else while playing a game, I like to be able to catch any dialog, muttering, or any other noise while playing. And like thevinster said, it's supposed to be immersive so I'm sure it's going to sound awesome playing it with the sound up.
No music. I'll enjoy the game's soundtrack, but I might eventually play some Pink Floyd to up the creepiness.
First time or two just game music, after that rockish stuff
After my first play through I will probably listen to some classic Rock & Roll
probably some Lordi for the first Big Daddy fight ("Devil is a Loser", a little "Hard Rock Hallelujah", "Would You Love a Monsterman")
then just some good ole Chuck Berry and Rolling Stones, not quite the same era as Rapture, but close enough for me
Let's see:
Britney Spears: Oops, I did it again (While harvesting)
The poo song
Chocolate Rain
Never gonna give you up
//Sarcasm.
y listen to other music, music and other sounds from the game allow u to be in the moment, but thats just me![]()
I'll probably listen to some Pink Floyd on my second play through.
ya the 2nd time around i have to admit the music can get annoying![]()
i play with the game music first then listin to maybe Save your self by Stabbing Westword
Actually, yes, I am.
There's that, and Vanilla snow, a parody of chocolate rain.
"The schoolbooks say it can't be here again"
Honestly, I don't feel Bioshock is a game at all suited for Xbox's custom soundtrack feature. That feature is awesome in sports and racing games, maybe even on some online Halo deathmatches, but in an atmospheric, immersive game like Bioshock, I think I'll pass and rock out to the 40s tunes the developers want me to hear.![]()
Also: Chocolate Rain raised my neighborhood insurance rates.![]()
I play it a few times before puttin on some old fall out boy songs. they're old stuff is so awesomely aggresive. Also some old school rap lol no joke good stuff.
Wake Up by Rage Against The Machine and Walk by Pantera.
Batch of Lies by Black Label Society (Zakk Wylde). BLS Rocks!
Creep- Radiohead
Beyond the Sea- Sinatra
Hollywood Swingin- Kool and the Gang
Ruby Tuesday- Rolling Stones
Peace, Love, and Understanding - Elvis Costello
Beyond the Sea, excellent choice
prob play it few times master it then play rock wile pwning![]()
Like most of you i will go through the game with the intended soundtrack,
And then probably go through it Blasting some Amon Amarth or Cannibal Corpse.
I won't be listening to any other music besides what is in the game while playing, listening to anything else would completely destroy the atmosphere of the game.
Our Diabolikal Rapture from HIM. (and the their new album when i get it)
ill just have some slow music and turn the volume down quite alot so i can still hear whats going on but ill probably save that till the third play through
maybe if ill play the LE soundtrack while im playing the game
I never play my own music while playing a game, as I tend to feel the game is meant to be played with the music that's in it and tend to lose immersion in the game if i'm listening to my own music.
if i want to go on a suicide run, i'll play Warrior [Slipmatt Remix]
but playing normally, i listen to the game's music
I wont listen to any first play through then second play through maybye some Rage Aganst The Machine and System Of A Down.
dont fear the reaper, holiday, and period music
I just go with what music is in the game, the developers picked those songs for a reason.
"Little Sister" ... Queens of the Stone Age
"Rapture" and "Falls Apart" ... Hurt
