"Would you kindly get stepped on by a Big Daddy?" -Fontaine
"Would you kindly get stepped on by a Big Daddy?" -Fontaine
If you try to buy something from Circus of Values that you can't afford, the clown says "Come back when you get some money, buddy!" LMAOI just realized this
BioShock is the perfect game.
I'll wrap you in a sheet.....
brrrr creepyness
"It was not impossible to build Rapture at the bottom of the sea, it was impossible to build it anywhere else."
I think this quote shows how monumental Rapture was.
Also 'A man builds, a parasite asks 'Where's my share?'

"I had you built! I sent you top-side! I called you back, showed you what you was, what you was capeable of! Even that life you thought you had? That was something I dreamed up and had tatooed inside your head! Now if you don't call that family, I DONT KNOW WHAT IS!"
When a little one says :"I can see angels..... dancing in the sky!" This one makes me happy.Don't know why![]()
Suchong - Cheap Son of a *****:
Fontaine scary son of a *****, but Ryan cheap son of a *****. You can no reuse protector suit. Take a man, graft skin and organs straight into suit, otherwise suit not work. Ryan say Big Daddy too expensive. Ryan can go suck egg.
Little Sister:
I hear the flap-flap-flapping of an Angel, Mr. B
Also there is one that goes like: I see Angels, Mr. B, they're dancing in the stars.
Funny thing is how do you see the stars if you're so far underwater.
JOHNNY-"just one more minute....sphere! spheres coming up now!"
ATLAS - "johnny, securitys been banging on and off already,GET A MOVE ON!"

I laughed when I entered Sander Cohen's room and he said "Welcome please don't disturb the dancers." Me "You should've told me before I blew a hole in the guys head."
The one that made me sad was when you go into one room (I forget where but it had a tonic in it) and there's a window with a splicer on the other side and you hear him saying "I'm sorry dad I did it for you, I always follow orders" (or something like that) and then he bangs on the door and comes to the window and leans on it. It's so touching I wish I could just break the window and kill him to put him out of his misory.
Dang, you know I had a really good one but I read some replies and forgot it. Although I do like that one in the Medical Pavilion from McDonough "That fat ****..." as Yi Suchong calls him where he gets mad at Steinman for the leaking pipes. I like it cus he's so blunt: Pipes leak. Pipes Freeze. Then I realized (on like my 5th+ playthrough I realized he was talking about the multiple frozen doorways).
2 best quotes in the Game, IMO.
"What's that Timmy? Had a change of heart? Are you ready to talk now Timmy?
**** you and your dirty.. whatever Ryan thinks he can do to me.. FONTAINE CAN DO DOUBLE!" (great voice acting here. The tone he says that with is amazing).
"I guess the old fruit finally sent someone!
Son of a *****. Left me to freeeeeeeeze. Ooooohhhhhhhh I've got a pose picked out just for youuuuuu. :screen freezes:"
Not my favorite, but...
When you're playing the challenge room "A Shocking Turn of Events" it sounded to me the first time like the little sister says "Two times six is chicken, Mr. B!"
Although... I'm sure it's not. xP It amused me for a few seconds.

"Its dreamy time Mr. Bubbles"
My fiancee says that before we go to sleep.
"When is a fever not a fever? WHEN I SAY IT ISN'T!"
- Dr. splicers
A long one here but wanted to put it in fullGreat speech, great scene. Will have been posted already but since its so good... =P
"The assassin has overcome my final defence. And now he's come to murder me. In the end, what seperates a man from a slave? Money? Power? No. A man chooses. A slave obeys. You think you have memories. A farm... A family... An airplane... A crash... And then this place. Was there really a family? Did that airplane crash.. or was it hijacked? Forced down. Forced down by something less than a man, something bred to sleepwalk through life until they are activated by a simple phrase spoken by their kindly master. Was a man sent to kill or a slave? A man chooses. A slave obeys! Come in... Stop, would you kindly? Would you kindly... Powerful phrase... Familiar phrase? Sit, would you kindly? Stand would you kindly? Run. Stop. Turn. A man chooses, a slave obeys! Kill! A man chooses.... A slave obeys.... OBEY!"
-Andrew Ryan
and his opening speech i also love. I practically know most of them off by heart. Armin did great voice work on those speeches in particular. All of them were good though, just those 2 are my favourites![]()

"Perhaps tonight we will dine on HAM AND JAMMIES!"-Little Sister
Every time I hear that line I just get a very unsettling feeling.
Also, The Ice Man Cometh= most epic audio diary ever.
What will always haunt me, and is reflected in my username, is the vending machines saying
"Welcome to the Circus of Values!"
and also
"My daddy is smarter than Einstein! Stronger than *can't remember*! And like the *still can't remember*! Are you as good as my daddy, mister?"
And my two favorite lines from splicers
"He's got a gun!! He's got a gun!" (LH splicer running away from me)
"I don't want to hurt you, I just want to see what's inside!!" (Thug splicer taunting)
Lol yeah i like that one too, especially if you're running at him with the wrench when he says it![]()
"My daddy is smarter than Einstein! Stronger than Hercules! And can light a fire with the snap of his fingers! Are you as good as my daddy mister? Not if you dont visit the Gatherer's Garden you aren't!"
I like Fontaine's pre-fight taunt: "I got ADAM flowing in me kid. You think you got power? You're 20 Watts and I'm the likes of Broadway!"

^thanks, for the life of me I couldn't remember what those damn figurines said.
Anyway, just remembered another good one.
"Sullivan: Mr. Ryan asked me personally to make this clear to you. You give us Fontaine, and this whole filthy ring of his, and you'll be knocking back pints up at the Fighting McDonaghs. But if you prefer to play the mule... we'll treat you like a mule... Give him a taste, Patrick... *Timmy screams from electrocution*
Sullivan: Oh, what's that? Change of heart, Timmy? Timmy? Ready to talk now?
Timmy H: Go on, Sullivan... go on and do your dirty! ...whatever Ryan thinks he can do to me, Fontaine can do double!"
-From Audio Diary: Timmy H. Interrogation

"they told me, son your special you were born to do great things! you know what? they were right!" -JACK
I particularly like the first audio diary. I think it does a wonderful job of letting the player have a glimpse of what methods Atlas' followers employed and when they struck (though not necessarily for the first time).
"Diane McClintock: Another New Year's, another night alone. I'm out, and you're stuck in Hephaestus, working. Imagine my surprise. But I guess I'll have another drink... here's a toast to Diane McClintock, silliest girl in Rapture. Silly enough to fall in love with Andrew Ryan, silly enough to- (explosion)
Splicer 1: Long live Atlas!
Splicer 2: Death to Ryan!
Diane: What... what happened... I'm bleeding... oh, god... what's happening..."
Also, the Freezing Pipes diary is pretty classic too.
"Bill McDonagh: Steinman, I know Medical Pavillon is your manor, but you might want to cogitate on this: ocean water is colder than a witch's tit. You don't heat the pipes, the pipes freeze. Pipes freeze, pipes burst. Then Rapture leaks. Now, I realize you're a posh sort of geezer, and, frankly, I don't give a toss if you piss or go fishing. But once Rapture starts leaking, the old girl's never gonna stop. And then I'll be sure to tell Ryan he's got you to thank."

I know it has been posted before... again and again but it is one of my favourites,
-Martin Finnegan
-The Ice Man Cometh
-static- you think your gonna finish me in here you old fruit, the saps you tossed in this meatlocker all panicked like rabbits. I just watched and waited, and when they started to kick, I started to scavenge... made myself a little splicer cocktail I did. when you cant come in from the cold you gotta grow ice over your heart. And the iceman cometh Sander baby, the iceman F****** cometh.
and of course
-Sander Cohen
-The Wild Bunny
The Wild Bunny, by Sander Cohen. I want to take the ears off but I can't. I hop and when I hop I never get off the ground, it's my curse my eternal curse, I want to take the ears off but I can't its my curse its my f****** curse I want to take the ears off. Please take them off! PLEAHEAHEAHEASSE!!!-deep breath-

~We all make choices, but in the end our choices make us~
"I'm too spliced up, too spliced up, nobody's gonna want me."- Female Ghost, Kashmir Restaurant, Dame's Bathroom.
((I think Kashmir was a restaurant but I'm not really sure.
What makes something like me? I look at genes all day long, and never do I see the blueprint of sin. I could blame the Germans, but in truth, I did not find tormentors in the Prison Camp, but kindred spirits. These children I brutalized have awoken something inside that for most is beautiful and natural, but in me, is an abomination... my maternal instinct. -Bridgette Tenenbaum
My favorite quote:
"Uhhhhh" - Big Daddy
Okay, My real favorite quote is:
"Now, Would you kindly go get stepped on by a big daddy?"
And the song the LS sings in the theater.
But My all time favorite is the Splicers entire talk when you fall right after you get Electro Bolt.
"Plasmids changed everything. They destroyed our bodies, our minds. We couldn't handle it. Best friends butchering one another, babies strangled in their cribs. The whole city went to hell."- Atlas
^^ after listening to this a few times I decided I liked it for some reason.
"All good things
of this Earth
flow
into the city."
-On a series of signs you see on your bathysphere ride into Rapture.
Quite ironic if you ask me.
Well, the good things may have flowed in. But none of it came back out.
hmmmm, probably "A man chooses, a slave obeys."
I like a lot of the quotes from BioShock, some, like The Wild Bunny diary, I like because they are so weird and a little random. While some, like of course; "Would you kindly", and, "A man, chooses. A slave, obeys." I like just because they are so cool. I also like some other lines because they make me feel powerful: "THE FIRE! THE FIRE! THE FIRE IS EVIL!"And some I just like to say to people when it seems appropriate: "Don't you disrespect me!". So, all in all, I like a lot of quotes from this awesome game for different reasons... But "The Wild Bunny" is the best.
![]()
OH MY GOD! I ALMOST FORGOT ONE OF THE MOST EPIC LINES EVER!![]()
"We all make choices. But in the end, our choices... make... us."
