I'd have to say the entire part with Fitzpatrick, especially:

"Oh, Cohen you sick f***, let me out of he-" BOOOOOOM!

I also enjoyed Cohen's "Wild Bunny" and all of his 'little moth' lines, and listening to Andrew Ryan, I actually found myself agreeing with many of his philosophies.

I don't, a lot of them sound great on paper but are horrible in practice.. aka Rapture. Same for communism and pure capitalism, they sound great on paper but thats it.

Anyway besides Cohen and Stienmen's quotes I think the football player slicer had some of the creepiest quotes. It was something about the way they yell it that made me feel sorry for them.

    Paraphrased here:
I DID IT FOR YOU DAD!
I did what I was told! I ALWAYS do what I'm told!

    Splicer-I **** bigger than you!

The banner-no gods,no kings only man is awesome as well.

    Best.quote.ever

My favorite quote (it is the only I was able to get):

"Bioshock.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience"

And believe me, i have tried every way to make this piece of coding crap work.

Of course, anything that Andrew Ryan says is usually brilliant except for his opinion on smuggling, which is the only reason why Rapture failed. You know the "Russian Bear" and "American Eagle" would have came in and tried to take over Rapture, but I would have liked to see Rapture protect themselves because that is a place worth fighting for.

In the end, what seperates a man from a slave? Money? Power? No. A man chooses, a slave obeys.

It was mentioned before, but Suchong's death recording is just pure hilarity.

Anything by Susan Blakeslee (Lady Smith, Julie Langford and the Rose Spider Splicer).

But my absolute favorite had to be this Tenenbaum quote. "And what was your reward? You never said, but I think I know. A family.

After Fontaine going on and on about how Jack had nothing and was nothing, that quote just great.

  14. #134
the one with suchong and the puppy was funny but only because my bros and i were blazed, but when later hearing the morning after i was like..wtf.

another one would have to be those vending machines that say
'welcome to the circus of values!
    or
"this angel looks like its dancing mr b!"

The Public Address Announcements, no contest. Here is a link to all of them:

    My favorite:

Jim: What's wrong, Mary? You look like you've just heard some TERRIBLE news.

Mary: Capital punishment! In Rapture! This isn't what I signed up for!

Jim: Now hold on there, pretty lady. The only people who face capital punishment in Rapture are smugglers. And that's because they put everything we've worked for at risk. Imagine if the Soviets found out about our wonderful city, or even the U.S. government. Our secrecy is our shield.

Mary: A little capital punishment IS a small price to pay to protect all of our freedoms.

    Jim: Now you're talking, Mary!

I liked everything Andrew Ryan said he has such a great voice for speeches

  21. #141
Ryan: The assassin has overcome my final defense, and now he's come to
    murder me.

In the end, what separates a man from a slave? Money? Power? No. A man
    chooses. A slave obeys.

You think you have memories. A farm. A family. An airplane. A crash. And
then this place. Was there really a family? Did that airplane crash, or was
it hijacked? Forced down. Forced down by something less than a man.
Something bred to sleepwalk through life until they are activated by a
simple phrase, spoken by their kindly master. Was a man sent to kill? Or a
slave? A man chooses, a slave obeys. Come in.

Stop, would you kindly? Would you kindly. Powerful phrase. Familiar phrase?

Sit, would you kindly. Stand, would you kindly. Run. Stop! Turn.

A man chooses. A slave obeys. Kill!

A man chooses. A slave obeys.

    OBEY!

The ones I personally cannot get enough of :

    Cobb:
"You wanna lock us in, old man? Oh, that's fine with Cobbsie. I used to
love you. I used you to think you were a musical genius. You know why?
Because you paid my rent, you ANCIENT HACK! Come on to the record store,
I'll show you what I think of your plinkily, plink, plink!!"

    Anya Andersdotter:
"I had to go jungle-style with that filthy ape for three weeks, but he finally spilled the beans on how to get to Andrew Ryan!"

    McDonagh:
"Seems like some poor blighters have started seeing ghosts ::scoffs:: GHOSTS!"

    Langford:
"Whats the point of being a damn genius if the only ones around to appreciate it are a bunch of spliced up morons?!"

All in all, the game has the best voice acting I've heard since Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines.

My favorite--simply because of the acting talent--was in the smuggler's area right after Ryan blows up the sub that supposedly had Moira and Patrick in it. Atlas yells at Jack to get out and then says 'Jesus Christ!' in that super heartbroken voice. I totally bought it, just rocked me.

There are many of them that made me just love this game. Mostly the one uttered by LSs.

"Chocolate is better than grapes...", "Scabby on my knees...", "I'll go there soon enough with Mr Bubbles!", "Lilly poppy! And living there is the lilly pop! (or sumthin like that. I believe she repeats some advert she overheard... just brilliant those details).
"I am a good girl, Mr. Bubbles!"
"Kill him, KILL HIM!!!" Hear this phrase being uttered by a 9-year old girl is just creepy.
Also when you have the Natural Camouflage you can hear certain lines you would probably not get the chance to hear: (one of them)
"I think the bad guy's gone, Mr. Bubbles."

    Splicers:

"I observe all his commandments... observe all his commandments. FATHER, WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN ME?"
"Jesus loves me this I know... for the Bible tells me so..."
"Even in the miles of the water, he sees everything, everything! *sobs*"
"Find a better hiding place you slimy bastard... I can see you!"
    "Hey, Brenda, open up!"
"Tell the minister he'll just have to wait, it's my daughter wedding, not hers!"
"I don't want to hurt you, I just want to know what's inside..."

"Zap'em, then whack'em... Remember, the one-two punch, the one-two punch!"
"Set your foes to a thousand degrees! Warning, fire spreads!" Also, the "extra spicy!" line on the fire plasmid 3 is good.

I also like the chatter of teeth when you hit a splicer with some electricity.

But my most favorite line is that Steinman's one...
"This one, too fat... And now... What's this? An intruder?! He's ugly, ugly UGLY!!!!" The prescripted acting is just great! How he theatrically hides his face from you and then picks up a machine gun and shoots through the window...

    CREEPY MOMENTS:
What make me really shrugg with anxiety was the splicer mother right from the beggining with baby carriage, talking to a revolver... Just creepy.

That ballet dancers in Frolic toilets... uhh.

At the end of the beggining, when the light go off and you can only see Ryan on the great TV and then only splicers banging on the doors...

All fights with Big Daddy... you get all filled up with adrenaline and when it's over the feeling is something I would not expect from a videogame.

    Ah, and I forgot...

    "Somewhere beyond the sea,
    somewhere, waiting for me,
my lover's standing upon golden sand
and watches the ships that go sailing..."

"f I didn't care more than words can say
If I didn't care would I feel this way?
If this isn't love then why do I thrill?
And what makes my head go 'round and 'round
    While my heart stands still?"

All the music from fifties in the distopian Rapture...

"In the garden we are growing..." I think is the start of one of them.

Could I have made mistakes? One does not build cities if one is guided by doubt. But can one govern in absolute certainty? I know that my beliefs have elevated me, just as I know that the things I have rejected would have destroyed me. But the city... it is collapsing before my... have I become so convinced by my own beliefs that I have stopped seeing the truth? Perhaps. But Atlas is out there, and he aims to destroy me, and destroy my city. To question is to surrender. I will not question.

What is your favorite quote from Bioshock?

My favorite I have never heard repeated. I was fighting a BD, when the LS got in the way, he stopped shooting me and grabber her and tossed her behind him. She yelled owe, and then started saying "chocolate is better than pain. chocolate is better than pain. chocolate is better than pain."
It was in a whimpering kind of crying voice. Funny, but a little disturbing.

Well, I was battling a Big Daddy on Hard and I was close to the little sister before pumping some electric buck in it, and the Little Sister went,
"No, No, No, No, No!!" No clue why, but it was hilarious to me. Had to put the controller down for a bit.

My other favourite has to be:
Everything that Andrew Ryan says when you kill him.
The Would You Kindly KILL and all that stuff. Wicked.
