    Zero Punctuation Review of Bioshock

This is an old review, but i see no mention of it here on the boards. He is rather hard on Bioshock, but the points he presents are funny but true. All mostly nit picking, comparing it to SystemShock 2. But it is still worth a watch, if you havent heard of this guy before, you should def check him out....he is sarcastic but incredibly intelligent in his reviews. Not like any other reviewer out there.

Oh, yeah. It was this forum (and that exact BioShock review) that introduced me to Yahtzee.

There were a ton of threads, starting around 9-12-07.
    Here.
    And here.
    Another.
    You get the point.
    etc.

He only had a handful of reviews back then, and they were all hysterical. I didn't visit his site for about 9 months, then I went back just last week. I watched all the recent ones, and I dunno....it's like he's lost a bit of the magic. I know its hard to be fresh and creative for a long period, but something about his newer stuff seems stale. He's still funny....just not milk-from-your-nose funny.

That is a good one, I remember seeing it a while back funny guy, I was first introduced to it via X-Play. His other reviews are equally funny.

that was hilarious of course, i still think that BioShock will come down on a silver chariot and bring us to the promise land (seriously, I'm not kidding when i say that)

Nothing that anyone says can make me think bioshock sucks... heck there aint no one no where that can make bioshock look bad and if they some how succeed I would tell them to go screw themselves for trying to ruin the best damn game there is I have played it more then 35 times and I am still not tired of it! but otherwise that review was hilarious

sorry if the language is a bit too adult for the thread but I am very passionate about some things...

Glad to see there are other fans of Zero Punctuation here on the forum. I saw the Bioshock review before I got the game, and after I beat it, went back and compared notes with him. He was actually pretty on base with a lot of this, but I always get a little mad when he gives a poor review to a game I like. (Which is why I never watch his Mass Effect review anymore )

Thank you for pointing me towards Zero Punctuation.

I've had quite a few laughs since finding out about the place.

He later states in his Halo 3 review that Halo 3 made him look back on Bioshock much better than he had reviewed it. That made me happy.
