Built a schoolhouse, upgraded to a college, and finally a university. I wanted to train a farmer, and once a regular colonist graduated I was asked what profession I wanted him to become, and Farmer was listed at 1890 gold!!!

Considering I can get them in Europe for 1200 Europe seems a bargain. But I thought the point of training was that you didn't HAVE to pay! How come some professions are free (fishermen), others are cheap (carpenters at 334), and some are completely off relative to others, e.g. farmer is 1890 but an elder statesman is 800? You're telling me it's much harder to educate a farmer than it is a statesman?

I'm running the snoopy/dale mod thingy.
