How many main villians are there?

I was going around the web looking up info, And I heard there was some crazed musician, an evil pianoist, a puppet master, ect. Are these different people? and if so, are they the ones who form up our boss battles?

Yes, just like the crazed surgeon in the medical carnival section of Rapture. These people aren't souped up and very strong like the big daddies though, but they do have tricks up their sleeves. I guess the devs didn't want to ruin the immersion by making those guys super resistant to stuff.

Also, I wouldn't know how many, but I would get one for each section so I guess 8? I forgot how many sections Rapture has.

I think it was 7. Possibly a secret 8th one, or so I heard. I would guess that the last one would be Ryan though.

Uh, yeah, the Big Daddies, remember? XD

Besides, 3 bosses per section would be too much for a survival horror game. I think it's better to just focus on one guy in each level, and learn about their descent into madness. (Wasn't really focused on in SS2 except for 2-4 audio logs)

Sander. Sander Cohen. I think... XP

    So... We have (so far)

    Dr. Steinman (Medical Pavilion)
Sander Cohen (Kashmir, or Fort Frolic)
Possibly some other theatre guy (what ever Cohen isn't in)
    Probbably Andrew Ryan (last level)
There is a level that takes place in the geothermal vents

That still leaves the fisheries (Neptunes Bounties) which I think will have a mobster and the tree area (forgot the name).

Sander Cohen are they, is it in a (p)review, or dont really remember much about this whole thing, I just assumed that one boss-type thing per level would be good, although it could be less than that

Oh yeah, if you look at the IGN pictures, there's a mafia-looking guy, that's going to be ☺☺☺☺ed up to go against a mob of them.

So... the question remains, who is in the area that Cohen isn't, and who is in Arcadia (re,membered teh name!).

I think that in Arcadia, since Ryan is trying to kill all of the trees, you may not fight a boss. On the other hand if you did, it would be one wicked fight!

arnt there other objectives in other areas? I cant think of any off the top of my head so you may be right, Maybe a gardener who blames you for trying to kill the trees

I'm not quite understandimg your wording...

Are you asking if the objective of each level is more than just to kill the boss? If so, then yes.

yes, like things atlas wants you to do. if they dont interfere with the other levels why would they do so in Arcadia?

Like the fact that (big arse spoiler (if you haven't seen the GameSpot E3 demo))in Arcadia Ryan pumps a poison throughtout the trees, to kill off the oxygen suply. And you have to invent a Lazyrus (spelling) poition thing to cure them?

well the lazarus vector only takes about five minutes to deploy, there probably wasnt anything special in its creation, it takes place in a small area, and he kills about 10 splicers, it isnt a big deal, there could easy still be room for a boss-thing

I'd think so. The Arcadia level is more a homage to Hydroponics in SS2, so it makes sense that the goals there a similar. Backwards, but similar. While that might be your primary goal, I wouldn't pick it as a Boss level challenge. Then again, they might not have a boss on each level, just to mix it up.

yeah, thats entirely possible, but the levels are big so I dont think there would be a problem if there was one every level

Hmm, maybe Arcadia has a deranged beekeeper? That could be where you get the swarm plasmid.

depending on what you decide to do (save or harvest the LS), maybe there will be a deifferent "boss" that you will have to face.

    Mob yes.

Remember the frozen policemen i found.
God i wonna fight the mobsters.
I would actually like it if he is still normal and un plasmid tainted, that would be cool and it would turn the generic good and evil on its head.

Do the regular enemies re-appear if you leave an area and come back? I'd assume so. Just checking.

Does anybody really think that? I hope not. They're kidding themselves if they think 30 minutes of trailer and preveiw, plus info on other minor bits of contend, is equal to playing the actual game.
