Your invite to the F-Fisheries *Spoilers*

I've played through a couple times, picking up something new on each playthrough, but I'm attempting to pay especial attention to detail on this run through (thanks to Kyburz for ideas of which limitations might make the game more interesting).
So I get into the Fisheries, and ol' Peachy, after spewing out his speech about the Devil and Fontaine says: "Atlas was ours! OURS!!" Now what could he have possibly meant by that??

Aww shucks, thanks for the kudos.

I was actually wondering that very thing on my most recent playthrough. It definitely supports the theory that ol' Peachy discovered on one of his many late night snappy expeditions that Atlas was actually Fontaine. Quite intriguing to think about.

Maybe Peachie thought Atlas was an ally that would take care of them and see to it that Rapture would turn back to normal. After finding out that Atlas was just a phony psuedomyn he realize that they were never going to get out of Rapture so was probably voicing his dismay that he had been tricked.

Spot on Asherah. That's what Peachy was saying. He thought Atlas was one of them, and he is reflecting on his facade, and how angry he is that he didn't see through it.

I'm playing the game on brass balls using only the pistol, plasmids, and probably the chemical thrower (hey! it's like plasmid variation!), no grenade launcher for me!

So that means that Peach knew Atlas was Fontaine? Perhaps he thought you were doing Fontaine's dirty and he thought you won Atlas over to your persuasions ("Atlas was [supposed to be] ours!"?)

Thats what i think. He was paranoid that Fontaine was still alive "I smell an ounce of Fontaine on you and I'll have you in a b-b-box" and he says "Atlas gives you the vouch but I ain't turning my eye just on his say so" Sounds to me that Ol' Peachy did believe Jack was working for Fontaine. Even when he does eventually let you into the Fisheries he makes you give up your weapons then almost immediately attacks you once you enter. I don't see why he'd attack you unless he believed that. Makes sense too about him shouting "Atlas was ours, OURS" that he believed he too had turned to side with Fontaine. I dont think Peach actually knew that Atlas was Fontaine but that he thought he was working for him in some way

I think Atlas. got that spot on!!! Although it is a bit unclear, it seems to me that Peachy and his crew sealed themselves in the fisheries after Fontaine's "death" but before the rise of Atlas. So it seems to me that Peach would of not really of known much about Atlas or would of cared to follow him even though Atlas appealed to workers like Peachy. I feel like at that point he wouldn't of cared about Ryan or Atlas - all that mattered to him was hiding from Fontaine.

    Great topic

I wonder if Peach's sense of smell is really that good (did he smell the pound of Fontaine that Ryan had on him?)

This may seem weird, because I think we all (myself included) assumed that The F-f-fisheries were closed (locked), but now I do not think that they were because when you go in there were loads of splicers, and how would they get their ADAM? If they did not get ADAM they would kill and harvest each other and there would be no one left!

I just as assumed those were normal guys in Peach's crew, that weren't really spliced up. I forget though.
