Shouldn't this be in Ask the Developers Forum (I forget what it is called)? since this one wouldn't really be here since the game isn't released and this is a question.
Let me answer this. By the way, I am going to use spoilers a lot, so I'll use the brackets on the whole thing.
When you kill a BD, the LS drops down and starts crying. She has just lost the only friend she ever had, so this is understandable. When you adavance on her, she tries to scuffle away, but it seems that she is to shacken up to run.
They eventually back themselves up into a corner or something and then you can harvest/save them.
I have gotten this information from all of the videos, however, it may have been changed.
The most recent video shows the LS drops down on her knees, cry, says a few lines, and just sit there in fear.
If you want to know what happens to the LS when you harvest them, use the search funtion on the top right of your screen. There are many threads dedicated to the answer.

I just watched a video on gametrailers and it said that the little sisters can run to the big daddy and they can put them onto their suit and run away.
After you kill the big daddy the little sister runs over screaming "Mr. Bubbles, get up Mr. Bubbles. Then you have an option to kill or save the little sister, either way your screen goes blurring, and if youve killed her shes gone and if youve saved her, her eyes go normal and she crawls back into a vent.
Where did you get that information?

If you have been watching the gameplay videos and trailers you would know what kind of reactions the little sisters have. In one of the very first gameplay videos on gamespot when he killed the big daddy the little sister ran and hid in a corner and started to cry and was very scared. Also in the most recent video on GT they said the little sisters will go up to the big daddy's dead body and cry "Why aren't you moving Mr. Bubbles?" So from what we can already tell the AI will be very smart and make you feel like a complete jerk for killing the big daddy. Only question is, what will you do with the crying little sisters?
From what I've seen watching them, they seemed to have been raised to not run away, but scream so that a Big Daddy can help them. But when that isn't any longer possible... they get scared and have sort of a nervous breakdown. I wouldn't be suprised if they went into shock... BioShock.
in the latest video on gt the lil sisters sounded like demons when they were fighting a bid daddy but when a bid daddy is killed im sure there going to be really scared and maybe they will even start crying
Did you guys read what I said go watch the gameplay videos and other bioshock videos. And the person that started the thread is talking about when the big daddy is dead not alive protecting the little sister. If you go watch the videos the little sister will cry and in one she backed into a corner. It is on gamespot one of the first gameplay videos. Check out some of the stuff you will definitely get answers to that.
