city placement / tile question
I wanted to know if when i found a city does it use the resources of the tile the city is built on? or only the ones around ita? or do i get a bonus for founding the city on a tile with a cow or wheat?
thanks

Only resources around city.
Extra tiles if you have a courthouse built.

And unlike in Civ 4, you should definitely *not* settle on a resource, as you will not get the benefits of that resource. This is a drawback of the Mongol "barbarians form cities" bonus, because barbarians are always located on a resource--so you lose that resource when the city is placed there.
As your city grows, you can use the customize workers feature to put workers in your city square. Early on they produce one hammer, and as the city grows, they also produce increasing amounts of trade.

ok that explains it, i used to play civ 4 alot, but like the console version because games dont take as long for multiplayer. I have not yet customized workers on tiles in civ revolution for 360 yet but will have to check that out, thanks!
