mmm...i hope that the developers moderators or whoever is with contact to the directives of the game see this and not ignore....eeeem yes IG-NO-RE this post like they ignore the others posts of the disapointing months we have passed about mafia 2 info....and months of any relevant info about the game and months of mediocree artworks (exept the last two)......and one more thing, if you are going to respond this eeem request do it giving us at least some info....if you are going to say : "its too early for info" "go and disapear for a long time till more info" or "go away" please do not respond im only want you to know that maybe you shouded announced mafia 2 more later.

I've voted "Of course, I like it", because something is always better than nothing. Yes, we could get more than "Q&A's" and concept arts, but if they can't show us more, they won't until they can. Pressure (=voting) on 2K won't help to change the situation I'm afraid ...

i voted NO but i don't hate it, but i want more info about the progress of Mafia 2, i belive that the devs nowdays work ½ hour and take 2 hour coffee break, of course, that is most logical , that is why they changed their name to take 2. :P

if they dont influence at all why they put votings?.....im afraid that the forums have a little influence (i hope) of the decisions of the 2k developers , then why the wish list and the things you may want in the game you put it because you have the hope that some of the developers or Elizabeth see it.

As of right now, isn't the scheduled release supposed to occur in 1st fiscal qtr. 2009 (Nov. 2008-Feb. 2009 for Take2/2K Games)? Can someone confirm this?

The reason why I ask is because I'm getting the feeling that it may be closer to 2nd fiscal qtr. 2009 (March 2009-May 2009). Why?

1) Limited number of screenshots/lack of screenshots lately. The artwork and developer interviews are only "filler" while we wait, no offense.

2) Elizabeth wrote in another thread that we are not close to release.

3) Limited number of previews in gaming publications.

4) Limited to no marketing as of yet.

Just my 2¢.

If 2k Czech is not going to release screenshots in the next month or 2, I'd look for a revised release date or time frame. That way people can chill out and relax and not be in such a panic mode.

Maybe I'm wrong though. Maybe the release is still scheduled for the 1st quarter. Perhaps 2k Czech will ramp up the marketing, release of screenshots/vids, previews, etc. closer to the release date. I don't know their business/marketing plan.
