    Lightbulb Upgrading Existing Units

    Hey there,

I'm playing CivRev on the 360 [if that helps], and this is really starting to bug me.

Say I have a Warrior or something, and I'm now into the Industrial / Modern Era of the game, is it possible to "upgrade" them to units of the ones of the era I'm in already?

Does anyone else get what I'm saying? If not I can explain better.

    Thanks,
    Sam

the only way to upgrade an existing unit is thru leonardo's workshop. you could sell them and use the gold to rush updated units. you don't get much gold though.

How do you sell your units. I have looked for an icon asking me to sell them but I cannot find one. Please help.

    Yes.

However, also germans can upgrade ELITE units, that means 6 exp; they are helped by their bonus, veteran upgrade for new warriors. If you build a barracks you have elite warriors, or you can attack huts to get elite upgrade, instead of veteran. You could also build barracks plus a great leader

Yes, exactly. :P I couldn't think of the right phrase.

So after building Leonardo's Workshop it will only upgrade your existing units? I know in the other ones, you had to pay to upgrade them.

Maybe I am looking too hard?

Here there are only two ways to upgrade units, beeing germans, or building the workshop
