Official Bioshock release countdown thread :)

You can watch it every day.....every day!

    European Bioshock Countdown
    US Bioshock Countdown

What do you do in the meantime? Any plans? What is the best to stop thinking about it?

Playing with STALKER, TESIV: SI, C&C3 will make the wait easier.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. will keep you entertained. If you haven't started yet, GET THE PATCH! It will not work with previous saved games, so if you're already a good way through the game, it's a tough choice to fix some bugs but start over or deal with occasional weirdness and not lose progress.

but the halo 3 beta will be out fairly soon! I'm dripping with anticipation for that one too, also while waiting for bioshock I'm saving cash so I can (hopefully) get the flat panel LCD t.v. I've been waiting oh so long for, and a 360 elite too (not that I really care for the difference, but the premium I play on right now belongs to my older brother) but the T.V. is first on the list since my 30" SD is -really- starting to crap out.

I can't stop thinking about it. Oh well. At least I can lurk these forms, learn new things and pass on the information to others and try to convinse more people to want it as much as me (or just in general). Or, of course, I could try to become an active member too and maybe play a few random games.

I cannot wait for Bioshock, Mass Effect, and Halo 3 to come out...AND THERE ALL SO CLOSE TOGETHER!!!! But, I'm trying to shorten it with Condemned...Not that condemned isn't a good game but this is not easy to wait for.

    Sooo many good games.

Medal Of Honour: Airborne is coming out at a similar time to BioShock.
The Orange Box will be awesome.
    The Darkness should be immense.

But yes, in the meantime, time to runthrough STALKER...again. I love fragging those damn bandits.

What about the rest of the world? Pfft. (emphasis more on the "about" in that last phrase, stupid text)

Actually time is going by pretty quick for me, I'm waiting for paychecks so I can pre-order and update my t.v. and buy an elite, there's so much stuff for me to do that 2 and a half months doesn't seem very long at all.

Ahhh the countdown is blocked by Websense. Stupid college, trying to stop us watch countdowns. I wish I was in a place where the artist feared not the censor.

Or I could just wait until I'm home in 30 minutes.

Could be worse. With other games it has been months earlier. Are not all games released on Friday in the UK?

Me? Pre-ordering my copy of BioShock, and since that takes no time at all, I am gonna smack zombies around in Willamette till then - that never seems to get old.

I've got a guy in the states forwarding a copy of the special edition to me, but I guess if I want to play it on release day I'll have to get a regular copy to play.

Well, what I am doing in the meantime is selling a house, buying a new house, getting things for the new house, putting up with a stupid realtor, feeling secure with my good realtor, taking the dog to the vet, and working, of course.

But, if you don't have a house to buy or sell, I would suggest looking into cryogenic freezing, just make sure you don't miscalculate and wake up after the release.

yeah like 5000 years in the future like cartmen on southpark waiting for the wii... then be sent back into the past 4 months earlier and repeating the process

I really shouldn't have looked at that.

go to the desktop tab and click customize desktop, then click the web tab, then click new and paste the web address.

  36. It's kind of like watching water boil. If you don't watch it, it seems to boil faster. If you watch it, it takes ages.

But for some reason, knowing that doesn't stop me from checking it every day...

At least its not as long as it was before. Damn, seems like forever ago when I firts heard about this game. The Darkness and Call of Juarez (first western game for me ever, and it's great, ) will keep me busy till then with Darkness already shaping up to be one of the finest FPS's ever.
