    Are we now to discuss the pros and cons of having a breakfast meal, or was this thread made with the sole intention of garnering bland single line responses. That would be almost as bad as the McD's BK thread

    I would hope the OP had the intention of opening a topical line of discussion such as the one I mentioned, regardless of the inevitable "pajama party" responses.....

    Honey Nut Cheerios
    Golden Grahams
    Lucky Charms
    Corn Pops

    I also use skim milk and sometimes 2%.

    Chex every time, any grain will do. Do any of you recall the Chex-themed FPS called Chex Quest that came in cereal boxes in the mid 90s? Best game ever. It was a Doom mod made to advertise their cereal, but it had to be okay for the kiddies, so they made it funny and 'blood free'. The opening cinematic still makes me laugh, and I still play it to this day. This remains the one and only advertising campaign that I can say influences any purchases I make (and has for the last decade). I drink Straus when I can, Clover in a pinch. If you've never had Straus milk, it's not for the timid.

    I'd like to state that this is a genius idea for a thread!

    * Fruity Pebbles
    * Vanilla Creme Frosted Mini-Wheats
    * semi-soggy Fruit Loops
    * very soggy Golden Crisp

    I prefer 1%, but Skim works too.

    Oh, and

    "Cinnamon Life
    *Smorez

    poor raveness

    yes it may not be the most interesting thread in the world... BUT there is a purpose. im collecting more data on eating habits. certain cereals are good for you and others not so much. im guilty of not always eating the healthiest cereal because some of my favorites are packed with sugar. however if you balance your consumption with healthy foods its easy to burn of the calories.

    the milk choices are also very interesting. i always use skim milk, whole milk is pretty disgusting to me, it tastes like cream. i would also warn people that whole milk is packed with saturated fat and should not be consumed on a daily basis. even 2% would be a much better choice.

    i do agree that threads should be about discussion and not simply for the sake of gathering data. i'll try to make my thread topics more interesting and open-ended in the future

    Why not just come out and say that in the first place? Though I tend to think you're just being snarky, if you really are collecting data for a study just say so. I don't think anyone here is going to skew their answer just to proverbially screw with you.

    the results should be the same as long as i frame the question in a neutral way.

    im not doing a formal study, but the data is still useful for understanding and predicting trends.

    and you are correct many times i will reply or post a new thread on impulse. usually that due to sleep deprivation. ill work on that

    Haha, I know of it, but it is not my favorite.

    My favorites would have to be Fruity Pebbles, and Honey Bunches of Oats. Both taste absolutely delicious. I just drown it in whatever kind of milk is in the fridge at the time.

    "the organic cow" brand of whole milk, it is literally the most creamy milk I have ever had, with some fruity pebbles.

    Either Corn Pops or Captain Crunch with 2% milk.

    Yet I have it with 1% milk
