    The Greatest Games Ever Made?

I've been a passionate gamer for nearly 12 years now, and I don't see myself stopping anytime soon, at least not for the time being. In those 12 years, I have seen great games come and go, games I considered the finest ever made. These games have stood the test of time and still remain as good as they ever were. I have fond memories of playing these games, some of which I can recall even today. Is it because my life was rather uneventful? Is it due to the fact that I was oblivious to life outside the virtual world? Well, you could say that but my early life revolved entirely around games and playing games with my friends. It's not something I'm ashamed of or ashamed to admit either, I simply became a part of this culture, and back then it was hardly a universal culture.

Anyways, I'm digressing a tad so I'll get to the point, can't dwell on reminiscing while I watch your hairs turn gray. Gaming has certainly evolved, and along the way the generations have produced some incredible games that we can still recall vividly today. Games of which we regard as the "Greatest Ever Made". So I ask you fine people, what would you consider your greatest game or games you ever had the joy of playing? And why that game stood out in your opinion. Due to the lack of time to ponder my own query, I will give my answer later.

A lot of typing just to ask a simple question.

Hmmm, Nightfire, from the Bond Series. Best game IMO.

As much as I love BioShock and Condemned (the first one), I think "Shadow of the Colossus" for the Playstation 2 is probably the greatest game I've ever played. I literally cried during one scene, (if you've played the game, then you probably know which scene I speak of). It was the first game that I ever considered "art". Everything was perfect, from the visuals to the haunting soundtrack. I loved that game.

Jurrasic Park for the Sega Genesis. I was very little back then and this game had always scared me when having to escape from the T-Rex while playing as Dr. Grant. I always got stuck on the River level. Playing as the Raptor was cool, but I always got stuck on the Pump Station level(some really tricky jumps on that level).

Please view this video to see how great this game was.

As far as PC gaming, anything that "broke the mold" or "set the standard":

    Wing Commander
    X-Com
    Diablo
    Warcraft 2
    Fallout 1 + 2
    Half-Life
    BioShock

There are more, but the above are all absolute classics of PC gaming.

    Ok:

    -Half-Life 1-2
    -Portal
    -BioShock
    -StarCraft + Brood War
-WarCraft III + The Frozen Throne
-Counter Strike: Source (If this counts, as it's a mod of Half-Life 2. I love it because I just learnt how to use the Source SDK. I followed a guide on Youtube on how to make a basic map. It's on my Xfire page. It's pretty noob, but my friends are thinking of cool ideas for maps that I'll try to make.)
-Chrono Trigger (Best RPG ever in my opinion.)
    -Gears of War

Y'know, there is probably way more but I can't remember all of them.

Here's my video on Xfire: http://www.xfire.com/video/2469f/
