Nice! this is exactly why I play this game, it is the amazing details, three full minutes of speech for a minor NPC. Other games would probably have something like "Charge!", and you would have to listen to it a 1000 times during your playthrough. :-)

Where is he Madonna? Where is the little sinner?

That one made me laugh out loud when I first heard it. Just the way that he says it. Agreed, the voice work in Bioshock is some of the best in years.

Makes me remember an episode of X-Play (a video game review show), where they were reviewing a Resident Evil game and one of their complaints was that the voices were completely random. That in that game that your character could be getting attacked but still say things like everything is fine.
I've never seen a single moment in Bioshock where this has happened. The splicers have their lines when they're walking around, their lines when they're attacking you, the lines when they've beaten you, the lines when they're losing, and so on and so on. It's just mind-blowing sometimes.

hehe, this reminds me about a game called True Crime LA or somehting of the sorts (a grand theft auto copy one could almost say) where someone drove over a woman, killing her, with his car, and she says "Damn, this happens me three times a week".

Likewise! XDDD;; I was like "O_o;; isn't he Sottish or something?" But I thought up reasons why he would be speaking Spanish. Fontaine could've had connections with all sorts of people.

I know, complete lack of originality and creativity. Ain't that a shame? Usually it's from money hungry companies, I believe..

Your avatar... Just so.. COOL. ............................ I KNOW RIGHT?! ::laughs:: XB;; Particularly I like his religious fanatic motivated "battle cries". XDDD;; So epic! I'm getting the funny image of Waders flailing his arms and running all over the place like a hyper child while shouting those little preaching speeches. >_>;; Only because I'm listening to some funny music.

XD;; I know! Just the way he words or says something... Oh man..! I was pretty "O_O; hot damn!" on the voice acting too, very convincing.

That **** annoyed the hell outta me.. -_-;; Sometimes Capcom just ****s-up hard. Just like Dante from DMC3, had to turn the TV on mute. T_T;; When their mouths just got too irritating.

And certainly, LIKE SCANNERS HEAD EXPLODING-MIND BLOWING!

    Good job, Doomgiver

I'm glad you left the Rapture Reminders in there. Does anyone else think Andrew Ryan's voice sounds a tad bit different over the PA? They were probably recorded a long time before Jack got there though, so I'm sure Ryan's voice changed a little.

Here is another neat video I found, kinda similar to the PA Announcement one:

    Call me Moon.

    I thought when Andrew Ryan was giving that great speech, that it was somebody else. ..But all that stress and anxiety can really weigh in on you. >_>;;

Leave it to me to derail my own topic. V_v; I'M JUST THAT GOOD!

Thank you everyone for the acknowledgment

But Andrew Ryan's voice over the PA talking about government and his struggles gave me the idea that it was recorded many years ago. Since Rapture was built in 1946 and the game takes place in 1960. There's like a 14 year difference. Now we don't know how old Andrew Ryan is... but we can hypothesize... Communism was official in Russia in 1922 and Ryan says he left in 1919 looks to me like he's probably in his 60s when the game starts and maybe in his 40s when he recorded those messages. So he may sound "younger" in the announcements and more 'matured' in person. That's just my 2 cents though.

Dang! Good point...I always assumed Andrew Ryan was in his forties during the game, but then that would put him in his late twenties, early thirties? when Rapture was built...and thatseems a little too young. I'd probably put him around mid fifties during the events of the game. He doesn't seem to look that old to me...maybe he had some youth restoring tonics

Sweet! You did a good job with it. I love Ryan's speech he gives towards the end.

Yeah, I had kinda thought that before, but never really put too much thought into it. It makes sense though. I always thought he was in his late 50's, early 60's. He seems adequate for that age.

The pigskin splicers are the funniest ones to me. They're the dumb jocks, walking around saying stupid stuff. Lol.
