I cant stand that i only see another player with a headset once every ten games. The are like $10 people!! If u can drop $60 on a game then spend $10 on a mic to make the game 10x better!! I just dont get it!!!

hey not everyone agrees buying a mic makes the game 10x better of even better at all. I have a mic and use it, however if someone doesnt want to spend 10 or 20 bucks on that or would rather buy a pack of smokes and a cheeseburger i have no problem with that. I wish everyone had one, but i can understand those who dont (especially after playing a lot of FPS on mic).
....does a bluetooth work?....
..and does the "ps eye" have one?...
yeah i use a mobilephone bluetooth works fine, not sure about the ps eye though ?
ps eye has mic, but it is a horrible mic....you end up hearing yourself in the game through the feedback the mic picks up
I use a headset. o.O
I used a bluetooth one that came with the cellphone I recently got. Works like a charm.![]()
i have a mic and am not afraid to use it. i just don't know if i want to open up a 4 hour exchange of small talk with someone i don't know. only in a team game do i see the use for a mic. don't get me wrong, i don't mind talking some but what part of a ffa game really benefits from an open mic?
I agree. I don't want to chit-chat with someone for 2-5 hours. In teams I could see maybe, but the diplomacy panel usuallly says all I need to say or care to hear. FPS like COD4 I use my mic. It is almost necessary in that particular game especially in hardcore. For civ, I believe communication with the enemy is not beneficial unless your enemy is telling you all of his moves. That would be dumb.![]()
Some people -- like myself -- have a PS Eye that works great in everything but CIV Rev.
I like using the mic, but I am not inclined to use a different mic at additional expense to merely satisfy the in ability of the CIV REV game to utilize hardware that already works great on my current system and other games!!!!
Eh, even on the 360 where almost everyone has a working mic, a lot of people don't want to use them. Number of reasons, shy, don't care, don't want to make noise, don't find the participants particularly engaging, or are just tired of general internet anonymity jerks.
Personally, i rarely use my mic, usually only to taunt people a bit or on rare occasions tell them they played a good game.
Does the singstar mic work as a headset?
