I know its not up to us how mafia 2 is made but I'm very would you prefer linear game or a sandbox style of game?

i agree, evreyone likes freedom of where to go and who to kill. But there should be some limits on certain things. For instance, if you get a call from a friend that needs imidiate help, under normal circimstances, you shouldn't be allowed to ignore him and go do a side quest or cruise around for hours, show up hours later, and have your friend in the same situation he would be in right after he called you hours ago. I don't know. I personally would like Mafia II to remain the way it is. Reason being that I don't want all the games with the potential to be sanbox, to be one. I know most of you disagree.

me personally i want Mafia 2 to keep the general feel of the first game which im sure it will.

cause if you change Mafia 2 to the point where it dont feel like the first... it will overall ruin the game cause the first game is one of my all time favorite single player games even to this day and im expecting Mafia 2 to pretty much do the same thing as the first did

cause if all it is is mafia 1 but with better graphics i wont complain .. cause that's about the only thing that is getting a little dated today with the first game otherwise it still ranks up there with the best games on the market, especially in the single player dept.

i pretty much agree here , as that pretty much sums it up... it's the story and feel of the game that makes it feel like a quality mob movie... that and it's great gameplay is what separates it from pretty much all other games in it's genre.

There are enough sandbox games. Mafia is and will always be a lineair game, keep it that way, it's fine. Free ride gives us a bit of a sandbox settings and that's good enough.
