I don't know if anyone has said anything about this yet but wouldn't it be cool if you could read the newspapers laying around? It would be like an extension of the diaries but it seems like every time I walk past one of the newspaper vendor thingies I wish I could just skim it really quick to see what they would say. Would the papers be an extension of the propaganda machine? Would there be underground journalism trying to expose the "truth?" I'd love to see any of the Atlas propaganda as well.

you can read the headlines on some of them, but the actual article is in very small print and almost impossible to read, but i think thats its still fun to read the headlines, and it would be really cool if you could read the actual article .

I am thinking like Oblivion style. Where all the ones you picked up are stored. In BioShock, it could be that help menu or whatever (when you press the 'Back' button on 360).

From high quality screenshots, it was discovered that the newspaper articles contain Latin and (as far as I recall) Spanish gibberish.

Thats great I'm fluent in gibberish! I could imagine some fantastic actual stories though. Might be a cool idea for a contest, "Write your own rapture news stories." And if they were chosen they could be placed in the game. Anything from upcoming events to obituaries to headlines.
