Freezing???

I went and bought Civilization Revolution for the DS on the day of its release, and the first one froze on me on the 13th, so I went and exchanged it, than the second one froze on me on the 14th, now I am on my third game, from the first two freezing. Now I would not care, nor would I be posting this here in the forum if DS games froze often, but considering they do not, and I have never had one freeze on me in my three years of owning the system. I was just wondering if anyone else had this problem with the DS version, or if this is a known error in the game. Someone please help me. Thank you in advance for your answers.

Yes I had the DS game freeze on me as well... and I've never had a DS game do that to me before either. I clicked on a warrior (it was about 10 moves into a new game on King level - Romans) and the DS locked up. I had to turn the machine off and on again. It figures, I seemed to have had a good starting location to.

I have not had a problem since (but it's only been a couple of days and I have not been able to play much since then) but it taught me that I better save more often than not.

If there is a problem with the cart, then 2k needs to replace them.

I as well save my game more often, I save it like every other turn. Usually I return the game when it freezes. My friend has had his game since release, and his has never frozen. But as well it does not rattle... now most DS games I have purchased have rattled, and I realized that each Civilization game I have gotten from returning them, have rattled, and all of them have frozen, wondering if there is a connection there.

360 version freezes too, in multiplayer it freezes every single game i play, except when im doing bad. My online record is 0-5 for free for alls, when every game i was whupping their tails and the damn thing froze. I called 2k support and he was blaming it on my cd or my console, when it happens on multiplayer and other people experience the same thing as well. Why have customer support if they have no idea how to help you?

I don't have the 360 version, but yea, every time I am winning it freezes. I will set the game up on king or something, than spend the whole game being beat down, than when I finally begin to win the game freezes. But I never thought of calling 2k support. Suppose you could give me the number and I can give them a call?

I have never played online yet, never really gotten around to it. But yea, if the game freezes during online play, it could either be a network problem, or simply an error with the disk. I guess each version has its share of problems, but each share the freezing glitch. I wonder whats up. But one thing that sucks is even if they do fix this problem, the DS version can not be updated, so what will they do about that?
