Maybe you could go to the vent he was heading towards and pull her out then harvest/save her, like in the X06 trailer (where he gets drilled in the hand and chest).
That's actually a really good question... Maybe you only see a Big Daddy calling a little sister in an intro level? Really something we'll have to wait and see... Maybe you can find the hole she'd come from and signal for her the way a Big Daddy would? Or maybe they automatically roam and there's a corpse in every level so she'll always be out...
i like the wholle vent idea were if we kill a big daddy without a lil sister we might be able to pull her out the vent he was heading towards this also raised another question in my mind will the big daddy have anything useful after hes dead that we can loot
He'll probably have a little something from a random loot table, if anything.

Well, he's right. I don't know why you would [I]want[I] to take on a Big Daddy if you don't need to, but who knows what would happen....
They did this in the 22 minute Stage Demo, he just dies and you move on. There are a whole lot of big daddies by Arcadia and your job becomes more to follow one to a vent so he gets a little sister then to just run around trying to kill all the BD in the hopes they have a little sister with them that you just haven't seen yet.

There seem to be enough Big Daddies walking around that it shouldn't matter to much should it? Maybe if you zone out and in there will be another BD?
Well in the Gamespot E3 video Interview it had like 5 or 6 big Daddies in that just one area.
Exactly! Now, that area may have been pumped full of BDs simply because it was a demo, but still, it makes sence to have a few extra BDs around doesn't it?

Thats a good question. Big Daddys aren't on a set path to go directly to a Little Sister. The AI is so good that they wonder the halls looking for dead bodies and then the little sisters to harvest. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
