If you move a settler next to my warriors and you don't defend it, that settlers mine. That saves me 2 population+time.
If you try to caravan my city and you don't move it right so that I get a chance to capture it, its mine. I'll send it back to you, but I'm getting the 50 gold and you can have the 15.
If you try to spy me you can sure as hell expect that to head back your way.
In the end your all at war. You might be going for victories that don't involve war but even then, you are trying to beat the other players. Why do people think that if they want to win a cultural victory they shouldnt defend themselves or do anything else? I hate it when people leave one archer army defending their town. Seriously? One unit? I can't just sit there and let you take over my cities with culture when one army of catapults can stop it.
Then they quit. I don't understand how people can expect me to just sit around doing nothing the whole game. I really don't. I figure if they don't understand how to defend themselves in the begining of the game they'll never win later on anyway. Might as well get them done with so they can go find another game. I've had people stay in a game for 3 hours and then just quit when I move one unit into their territory.
