Guess nobody has beatten this game on king? Just proves how much this really sucks!!!
lol you post 3 minutes after yourself giving up because nobody answered within those 180 seconds :P
Beating the game on King is actually not too difficult. My reccomendation would be to use the Americans. Frankly, they are broken. When you reach the Modern Age, factories triple production. I've had cities producing over 100 resources per turn. That combined with great people and the military industrial complex are a huge boon. I've been playing on King before as the Americans with three cities, and thanks to the science boost of democracy I took on all the other civs at once and not just held them off, but gained ground. Basically, in King I would say to focus on technology and try to get democracy quickly. Focus first on defending your capital, then if you can, build one more city for the time being. Overexpansion will kill you and give the other civs free cities. Just focus on technology, and it will help the rest of the game fall into place.

that should help you beat it on king
Guess i will go post this in the strategy forum, this board is closed.
practice!!!
sorry but if you cant beat it on king you probably have no idea what your doing. king is very easy. Just practice and get a better handle on the game.
If your having trouble on king maybe you should go back to warlord and keep practicing.
Read some of the strategies and try them out.
Yeah king was a challenge at first. But if you practice on warlord its really easy.
did you practice!?!?
I played my first King battle last night playing as Spain and won. Was a race between the Mongol’s and their economic victory and my Tech.
Once you have sea superiority and a good bottleneck with sea support you can do whatever you want. The one thing I noticed in this first King battle I have played is the AI doesn't seem to understand that by forming "wings" or "fleets" they have a better chance at breaking through an area. Instead it is attack after attack of single planes & ships which get them no where.
Warlord was fun the first 7 games but when your winning without trying hard it is time to move up.
King is fun so far and winnable.

King in my first game wasn't hard, but to be sure I built about 11 armies of knights using mongols (I was thinking that AI had good defences but in one turn with first 2-3 armies I have won). My challenge were deity and emperor
