according to one Czech site Mafia2 will be at E3 but shown behind closed doors, maybe is why it's not showing on the lists.

We still don't know whether Mafia 2 will be on E3 or not, but some sources confirmed that 2K Czech is going to present this game on E3 behind closed doors. There are no informations yet who will be invited to the presentation.

This website isn't the official E3's site. Most of the informations is speculation, like HL² Episode Three, Mafia 2, etc...

And the 2K's Line-Up is available and clearly says that Mafia 2 won't be showed.

I may be wrong so don't all jump on me or shout "DEATH to the traitor" .. but as I may suspect Mafia II will be a 2009 release later in that year.. may be the game will be included in E3 2009..

personally I am not surprised IS (now 2K Czech) have always been closed shop when it came to giving anything away.. there record with support for fans of their games isn't exactly good tbph.

to be fair to IS it's the publishers that call all the shots re the release of media & where and when to show off the game, it was a constant cause of frustration when I was running H&D2 & Mafia fan sites but Take2/2K have always been very careful (tight ) about releasing info about many of their games.

all the time (5+ yrs) I was helping/running one the most popular H&D2 fan sites we got only a few exclusive screens and very little info, dont expect Mafia 2 to be any different.
