personally I think we need more cow bell.
come on its easy to only put one image of the a lot that you have whats the problem putting one of them? it have been passed like one month without a screenshot
Hmmm....I completely agree.
Although the Dev's level of involvement with the Community would sway my decision of buying the game...it would certainly be nice and I'm sure more and more people would become part of the community, meaning more people would buy the game.
Just look at Bungie. Big community....BIG successful game.![]()
you are absolutely right.. mafia one didnt have much publicity.. it could have been the best bought game if they did promote it well.. so many people dont know mafia a great gamea and with great story.. i wish mafia 2 doesnt end up like mafia one...
But (thanx to mafia.gamesource.cz) we know that new trailer is coming soon![]()
althought they dont say the date of a new trailer we all know that it will be shown very soon in the E3 or in Leipzig convention so i know that it will be showed soon a new trailer but come on an image is not a hard work just put one...whats the problem you have completed the game in a 80% right?
There is definitley nothing big going on related to Mafia II on E3, except for some internal bussines activities mabye :-). This was confirmed earlier by 2K Games PR representatives and also, Mafia II is not on the 2Ks official E3 list (check IGN).
As for screenshots - well there is nothing easier than put one image on the official website, thats for sure, but this is I belive marketing strategy question. I personally also dont see the reason why all the 50 or so images from various paper magazines still aren't online after some two months far from the huge wave of previews, but they seem to know what they are doing at 2K ...
But I can see somehing is happening behind the scenes ... three sources in one week led to words "marketing strategy" and one also led to "launching in October 2008" while mentioning Mafia II (I wonder what this date could be - wonder with me).
The original post doesn't actually add anything to the forum... so I'm going to close this down.
