    @ps3_remote?

    Anyone know why on the PS3 my in-game name is always displayed as PSNtag@ps3_remote? It's quite annoying, and sometime even breaks the tables of the message boxes displaying info.

    My username did this just last night. Quick search shows it has happened to some others recently as well. Not just here but someone mentioned it on the UT3 forums. I thought it might be related to the system update the other night but you post this 3 weeks ago. Anyone else have this happen to them? I agree it is very annoying to see my name not capitalized and with @ps3_remote attached to it...

    I've had the same problem the last couple of times I played... I can't help but think it's something to do with the fact that I recently signed in on the PSN web site and changed my password because I forgot what it was (Damned auto sign-in! ). Ever since I signed in on my PS3 using the new password, the PSN ID shows up as spikebuzznik@ps3_remote .
    Don't know if this helps any, but it seemed too much of a coincidence to not be related.

    New player. Downloaded the Demo when it was first available, and hadn't played it until last week. Where I played it 3 consecutive times in a row. So, with the help of the nice coupon, went to my local Wally and bought the full game.

    Both the demo and the full game have this bug. It is VERY annoying, it is one of my few gripes with the game. Anyone ever see/hear of a fix?

    The issue hasn't come up for absolutely ages, but I don't ever recall hearing about a fix for it. I assume you've let the game download the latest patch (1.30) in case that helps.

    Note: I've just done a quick search, and it looks like at least one person has the same problem with Unreal Tournament 3. UT3 also uses GameSpy, so it may be a problem there...

    Yeah, even the demo is 1.30 and it too did it. It isn't game breaking or anything, but it is pretty annoying, especially when it chops the end of some conversation bubbles off....
