Yep lots of people have. All you have to do is build the parts of the space ship and launch it.
It is right. However it is the WORST victory. The economic is better than the tech victory because the world bank costs 500 and only 1 of the part costs 400.Originally Posted by TheMystic

I've gotten Tech victory few times. Takes a lot of time, but you get nice animations.
More points for more SS parts, and faster victory with more thrusters.
I thought culture is the worst? (useful early but kinda 'meh' in late game)
Difference being building SSR can be rush using gold.
I don't get how a tech victory is the worst, if you mean difficult then I'm up for it, I'll love that challenge.

You have to get all the way up to space flight before you can even build parts, each of which costs nearly as much as the world bank or united nations wonders.
It takes much more time. In the time that you just get to space flight you could have easily got 20,000 gold.
I've got tech victory on deity, but it took a long time. I mostly did it because I wanted to try it. Personally I like Culture victory the most because you get so many great persons
The best victory is domination, you can win from 11-12 turns if you are lucky (in the game of the week it's possible for example). In king i have won in 44 turns and i think i could win in less turns. And in the time that you need for the tech victory you can build a lot of temples and cathedrals. So you can build 6-7 wonders, you can flip 5-6 cities if you have some gold to rush cathedrals and temples in new cities, and some great person

Online i know no. But i could win in 40 turns online, YES, it depends from luck. However in about 15 turns i could have taken 2 capitals at least (I'm not kidding or saying bla bla bla.. For example TheMystic knows that i have taken 2 capitals in a head to head, that were of China and Japan, in about 15-20 turns. ..when you are capable of that, i think cultural win will be your least favourable choice because it's much easier to do economy, domination or tech while IMo cultural win is the slowest.
Well its the same thing right? You are even playing vs King difficulty AIs then. What I'm saying is that vs real people, in other words not a head to head game but 4 people, you will find it very hard to do such a thing if they arent really bad.
What? I was talking about online. I could win in 40 turns. In last game i think i used about 30 to take Washington and to take all enemies cities (I have finished it about 2 minutes ago), and he was about top10-15. And in a FFA, last time in 15 turns i killed greeks and i haven't killed anymore because i was far enough to others. I'm not so noob as you think
Uhm, I havent said you are noob. You are claiming that you can win that fast, and I'm saying it wont work against so many human players. You talk as if your strategy will always make you win that fast and I do not believe it, regardlessof your skill.
In FFA is not so fast because i have to know all positions and it's sure at 70% that one will be in 1 island. In head to head i could win in about 40 turns, because you can't start near your enemy in head to head, however in FFA i could win in 40 turns if i'm lucky

Tec Is the best victory ever i built everything on my spaceship.
It is not, because you have to research a lot of technologies, you have to build a lot of things, and what does mean rush? If you can rush for 2000-3000 gold you can win for a economic victory.. However the cultural victory could be the third or the slowest, it depends from how many wonders you built
can some one help i tried to do a tech victory and got space flight but i cant build the rocket.
