Comment about the citizen on street

In Mafia I, there are only several kinds of pedestrians on the street. Many of them are look identical. They should have different faces, height, dressing and even ages (e.g. adults and children).

Besides, all of them are walking alone. Some of them should go in pairs and more (e.g. a group of friends). And they should interact with others (e.g. chatting), but not just with Tommy.

In rain, some people may not have umbrella. Or they only hold newspaper above their heads.

I hope my suggestion could help Mafia II be more realistic.

To some extent we have already seen this on the screens, like the one where there are two policemen chasing Vito.
One is slim while the other one has a mustache and are more heavy\fat.

So there is no doubt there will be a larger variety among the NPC this time.

I agree with you guys, it would be more realistic and more fun to just watch what'll they do

About that little spit on the first part: yes, there are small number of different characters on the street, but there's a lot of ways they walk and their postures which makes them different. I don't say it's perfect, but in those days of GTA Vice City, where you could see identical men or woman (everybody remembers that pink shirt guy on rollers...) so that really sucks!

Mafia feels more alive than any other game of that time. So, do we need to think this time is going to be any different?

Hey, man, I'm into diversity as much as possible, and on every game not only Mafia II, but watching babies in strollers and maybe even shoot them it's kinda too much and I don't blame ESRB or whatever for banning a game that allows this kind of stuff. Why wasting time with this kind of detail when maybe creating more car models for the game or more weapons, or increasing the city dimensions would be a much better invested time IMO. So, although I'm 100% into diversity, this kind of detail I don't want to see on any game TBH.
