has anyone here or at 2k addressed the freezing?

It seems that there have been several people complaining of their games freezing.
I've had freezing issues with a few 2k games in the past (i.e. oblivion, nhl 2k6, college hoops 2k7, mlb 2k7) and so that concerns me as the u.s. release nears.

Has anyone mentioned the freezing or even looked into the cause? I'm sure a patch would fix it straight away....

anyway, I'm sure it will be fine but I was just wondering.

I don't know which version you are referring to but I have the ps3 version and do not have a freezing issue.

its getting bad community wise now, ive had a number of messages from people who obviously dont visit these forums saying things like 'lol you are a cheater' because the game froze and i ended up with the win.
i guess eventually they will find out that games freeze quite a lot and either decide that everyone cheats or there is some bug with the game, but my 'avoid player' list is filling up fast purely because its better for everyone if i avoid these people who feel that the freezing is deliberatly caused by other players in the game (and then ***** at you about it over the messaging system for days afterwards).

I've played 4 multiplayer games and three of them have frozen. Less than desirable. Pretty much useless really, because you can't save in multiplayer.

I've not had any freezes with any other games, I have a new Xbox (halo 3 special edition with 65nm processor), and it doesn't do it in single player. I think there might be a programming issue.

I've watched my brothers play and played myself, all togather, maybe 50 games. Of those 50 I can only remember 5 or so which have frozen. They weren't hard freezes but just where the game got stuck with the spinning cogs. The game started again in 3 of them when someone else quit and I quit a few times.

What I'm saying is, your either very unlucky or its just you.

it only happens to me in multi about 20% of the time, but is still annoying.
