Launching mission to Alpha Centauri

What happens if you launch the mission to alpha centauri early?

I normally build the maximum amount of fuel pods, habitation pods etc before launching?

What happens if I launch after just building the min amount required?

Edit: Never Mind. Found the answer in the Civopedia. More modules just means a higher score at end of game.
