I was about 6 when I got my amiga. I was more into Sids Pirates! than civ at the time though. I remember sitting their for hours with the pirates map on my lap playing the game.

Some other games I was playing at the same sort of time.

    Let's see....

Civ2 was the first version I played, and I didn't find it until It had been out for a couple years...

I was 42 when it came out ...

    I must have been about 44 - 45.

    I played Civ2 somewhere between 7-10.

I didn't REALLY play (as in, had an idea of what I was doing) until I played Civ3 when I was 13. C:

This is the first Civ Rev game I've played properly, not just throwing the controller at the wall or screaming when I lost. and I'm 18

Who ever posted this poll is youth centric....doesn't probably know any gamers older than 40 since his top age was 22 plus.

Try 68 sonny. Yes there are a lot of "seasoned" gamers out here. I should think you could have at least gone to 50 + instead of 22.

    First post here.

I was over 30 in 1991 when Civ 1 was released and that's when I started playing.
So, 22+. Having such a youth centric poll does make the math easier.
